I've been here before and have been happy with my purchase but today when I got my bowl I was a bit frustrated. My blueberries are completely frozen and there were no strawberries. Frozen blueberries are really not that great, and I cant stand the texture. I would hope that when I go to a fresh food stand and spend at least $10 that I would get fresh food.
We arrived at a busy time and service was a bit slow, but that was OK with us. We weren't after fast food, just a good lunch. That's exactly what we got. The Harvest Turkey sandwich has a combination of ingredients that was unique to me. I would order that again and again - but I will soon be back home 2,000 miles away. We splurged on strawberry / banana smoothies and they were also really good. Thanks, Roots.
Their breakfast bagel sandwiches are amazing.
The ladies working here were super kind! I got the plant powered everything bagel, a berry delicious smoothie, and an iced Oregon chai while my guy got an iced mocha and west coastie bagel. We both loved our choices with him describing his as “fire”. Would definitely recommend!
Thai place is wonderful! Delicious food and drinks, friendly staff. 10/10 spend some money at this great small business!
Breakfast sandwiches and coffee are amazing!
When I'm visiting smaller towns I often get frustrated by the lack of healthy food and I start longing for something green and not deep fried after a few days of eating non-stop heavy oily foods. Hence I am so glad I tried Roots. It's a cute little drive-thru that has large delicious salads, healthy sandwiches, coffee, healthy juices, rebel drinks & smoothies. As an added bonus it has a great selection of vegetarian items in a town that has so few elsewhere. My salad was colorful and delicious and I will DEFINITELY be eating here again. My only gripes are that they close pretty early so grab your food before 1:30 and for some reason they forgot to include beets & microgreens in my salad (so check your order before you leave unlike me).
I cannot say enough lovely things about this amazing little gem near Cape Disappointment! I ended up having breakfast here every day I was in Long Beach, and on two days I had both breakfast and lunch here. That was not my plan for my Long Beach trip, but after my first amazing breakfast I could not stay away! I fell in absolute love with their Forget The Meat breakfast sandwich on a croissant, and the Veggie Sandwich on Sourdough for lunch. Mercy they were so good! The lavender lemonade was a wonderful sweet refresher, and my Saint Bernard adored their super-special puppucino treats. Thanks for an amazing place to eat on my beach getaway, you guys rock! Update June 2022: still great. Took a trip with my daughter and three doggos, and this was on my must-eat list for the trip. Did not disappoint!
Delicious smoothies!
Came by today 2/11 at 11am and they were closed. There is nothing on google that says temporarily closed. Really bummed, I wanted an açaí smoothie bowl. Nothing was advertised or written on the building. Someone wrote me back and was very rude saying the company wrote a post on Facebook stating they were closed, But that doesn’t advertise to those passing thru and aren’t local. Even for small business, I don’t support rude companies. 1 star.

Amazing food but this time I ordered 3 turkey sandwiches only to find out once we got home that 2 were ham 😔… very disappointed local. No turkey, no bacon , no avocado either… I mean they were supposed to be TBLTA turkey bacon lettuce tomato avocado . So I got 2 ham , tomato , lettuce, and cheese sandwich ???? Hope this never happens to someone who culturally doesn’t eat pork ! Unfortunately, Not going back … 2 sand whiches were toasted , 1 was not ? I mean there is no way to mistake ham and turkey… especially when you make 1 turkey and the other 2 ham . Just a bad experience and still hungry, $37 for 3 sandwiches , one could only hope to at least get what they paid for. Can’t go back to get it made right , cuz they close at 1:30
Great spot for some quick, healthy breakfasts and lunch! They have just about every milk alternative including hemp milk and the food choices are very original!
Today was my 1st time at roots and I really liked it I got the all very smoothie and my old man got the Orange banana smoothie with the vanilla protein in it I also got a breakfast sandwich that was made of greens and had jalapenos and turkey bacon it was really good
They make a personal coffee and their vege sandwiches are yummy and healthy!!

Okay so this AMAZING little gem is one of the only breakfast/lunch spots open at 7am and worth your business. We called in to try them out and we are so happy we did. We got 2 fantastically fresh sandwiches, a full salad and a smoothie. Now my sandwich (Turkey Bacon Club +avo) was so fresh and put together nice and neat. Not thrown together in a hurry and just the right amount of everything in it. The Chef salad I split with my wife was HUGE and was also spectacularly fresh. The smoothie however was the best... Refreshing, tasty, smooth and hands down one of the best I've hand in years with it's perfectly blended organic ingredients. This is a must stop for anyone looking for fresh, organic, quality breakfast or lunch options with a super friendly staff.
This place is easy to find, access, and exit. It's located right on the primary road near the center of town. You can drive through or do a walk up since there is adequate parking. Orders can also be called in. They make outstanding sandwiches that are large, tasty, and filling. Will definitely be a return customer. They do not have any restrooms on site that I noticed. - If restrooms are needed go to the public facilities along the waterfront.
