Had the eggs benedict and it was really good. Food came out fast with great service!
Tasty food an great staff,
Slow service and mediocre food for all three of our dishes. We watched our lunch sit at the service window for 10 minutes before it came. I suspect there are far better places in Ellensburg. This is a $20 burger place that does not deliver.
Waitress must have been having a bad day. Got sat down and ordered. Waitress seemed perturbed. Watched as 3 other tables were seated and served. By the time the table across from us got served and had almost finished...20-25 minutes passed and we were informed, in a cold manner, that our order had been lost and we could wait for it if we wanted to. Well we left. This was done on purpose as I overheard the Waitress and a busser talk about it when I went to the bathroom. Bad service. No clue about the food.
I frequent The Palace for dinner. They have a great menu. The Ahi appetizer and Chicken Caesar Salad are my favorites. Thier Breakfast is also pretty great.
Food is always top tier, as well as their amazing waitstaff. Great place for celebratory dinners !
Heading through town with a group of friends, we ended up at Palace Cafe. They seemed to have a pretty good selection at prices that struck me as reasonable. It seems we got served pretty quickly, and the gentleman who served us was great--very attentive and helpful with our dietary restrictions. I had the cod fish and chips and found the fish and fries quite tasty. The tartar sauce didn't seem to have a lot of flavor (until I doctored it with spices), but it was fine. The coleslaw was boring and fairly tasteless, but there was plenty of food without it. I could see myself returning here if I find myself in Ellensburg at mealtime again.
Hello Everyone! This review is just based on one specific plate. New York Steak, broccoli, mashed potato, sautéed mushrooms. Let’s start with service I give them a 10/10 the girls there were super nice and super friendly. Cleanliness 10/10 the place it self was gorgeous definitely a place I would go for a romantic dinner. Now the food. I hate to say this but my specific plate and only my specific plate I give it 3 out of 10 I guess. The plate it self looked gorgeous, the amount of the sides was very generous but the flavor was a total 0. Everything in the plate was so extremely bland, I ended up not eating it. It was very disappointing. So if you are looking for a good flavorful steak, this ain’t the place. Pretty sure one of this Mexican restaurants have a more flavorful steak in their menu.
I ordered take out, great service. This place was really busy at 530 pm. Parking was an issue for me. I'm 84 asthmatic plus achy joints. No handicap Parking that I saw.
This has been our favorite place to eat at for decades. Their prices are reasonable, plentiful servings. Any time day or night, the staff are always prompt and helpful answering questions and getting you seated. The quality of their food is top notch.
Great food and prompt, friendly service.
Best eggs benedict and French toast we've ever had, Brian provided exceptional service!
Cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. Food came out fast.
We used to be regulars. I say 'used' to because we decided today was our last time. Several times now we've patiently given grace to the workforce here but enough is enough. Had the same girl serving us a couple times and honestly I don't know how she keeps her job. Before I ordered, she said there was no soup, but after I ordered something else she asked someone in our group if they wanted soup with their meal! We clearly stated we wanted a thick chocolate malt because last time it was not a malt. Today is had malt but was not thick and was running all out of the cup. After a long wait, my husband got a sandwich but not the fries and soup until he was done with the sandwich. When we complained, she said 'oh, the kitchen is busy' ! When I asked for the cheese and dressing that was supposed to come on my salad but was not on it, she eventually brought the cheese but no dressing. I commented again that I would like dressing. Eventually came with that. We had to ask for napkins, then silverware, and asked for an extra glass for the malt we were sharing. That never came. One other server was hustling. Ours was not. She chose to stop and chat up her friend several times and I had to interrupt multiple times to get her attention. There were no apologies and no compensation for a terrible experience. I hope the manager sees this and there are corrections.
The food was really good but service could use some improvement. Once served, the waitress never came back to see if we needed anything. Only came back to drop the check.
Nice place to jave a drink and food. Full bar, was very busy and load, but a great vibe. Seemed like a young crowd, everyone seemed nice.
Huge variety of American food and is a local favorite with a lots of food options. Service is great and my two kids like the kids menu. I've brought large groups as well as gone on lunch dates with the wife there. It has two eating areas that are hidden away which I've used for meetings as well as large group friend gatherings.
Wow. Just wow. Found on accident when another placed we tried to go wasn't open. Drove past it once and didn't think it was open, so I would look in to improving signage for non-locals. But once we got inside, lemme tell you, worth it. Coffee was divine, and thats saying something, we drink a lot of coffee. Then breakfast? Oh my goodness. Just phenomenal. Homemade gravy, the hash, fluffy eggs, French toast! All out of this world. It closes early, so get there when you can! Stop in on the way across state! You will NOT be disappointed.
Serves American eats. Great food breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Friendly staff and service does not take long.
Exactly what you expect and need out of a diner style restaurant. The pies were also amazing.
