My favorite place to get breakfast in Ellensburg! I'm positive lunch is fantastic as well! I've just haven't had the pleasure yet. Traveling and eating out can be frustrating. I just want a good meal and some positive interaction. Thats hard to find. More times than not I'm disappointed. But here at the Country Cafe the atmosphere is warm, welcoming and comfortable. Andy, the waiter, is friendly, cares about what was ordered, checking with the kitchen on modifications before bringing your food to you. He is sincere and the interaction is a positive one.

I’ve had breakfast here twice. Both times, the food, service, noise level just weren’t good. Really wanted to like this place! I will stick with The Palace food and atmosphere

Good selection of breakfast fair. Service is good, only thing I can say is that the seating, booths were uncomfortable.

My daughter and brother and I were in here for lunch. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Orders were hot, timely, and good home cooked flavor. This is a great small town cafe

We were sat relatively quickly, but then the food—4 breakfasts—took literally an hour to come out, with no forewarning by the staff or acknowledgment or apology. Food was ok, but if the place is busy, plan to be here much longer than you’d expect.

Don’t take note of ANY negative reviews, this is hands-down the best breakfast for your buck that you will get in town! The Country Cafe is a family-owned restaurant with the most immaculate small town charm. The owners and staff work so hard to make sure everyone is taken care of and has a great experience. My partner and I have been coming back to the Country Cafe for years - even back when it was still the Wild Huckleberry. The owner has been here through it all. Trust me when I say, come to the Country Cafe and you’ll get a great breakfast and a wonderful experience.

First time, Ive ever been here. The waitress asked my husband what he wanted to drink, yet walked away and never asked me. We waited 40+ minutes for very bland food, no flavor, veggies undercooked and hash browns over cooked. Didnt see a point to complaining since the waitress was rude the entire hours and 20 minutes we were there. She came to give us our check, way before we finished eating and stopped by to pick up the check before we had even looked at it, then sat and looked at us like we should hurry up and pay (while still working on 1/2 of our meals). We ended up leaving without finishing our food. Worst dinning experience I've ever had in ellensburg, will not be returning.

We swung in for breakfast before CWU tour. Damn. These guys are killing it. Food was made very fast, served hot and fresh. Server was very attentive and prompt. Very friendly place. Chicken Fried steak and Ouellette were perfect!

You can tell that the owners love what they do, their community, and their workers. As for the food it is 10/10 i had the breakfast burrito with avocado and biscuits and gravy and it was absolutely heaven. I was super impressed with the b&g cause the biscuits were soft but not mushy and the outside was crisp not burnt. Honestly the best b&g ive ever had.

Exceptional. Got the veggie eggs Benny with bfast potatoes. Flipping perfection. The potatoes perfect. Egg was delish! Rest of us got the corned beef hash - soooo good. The bacon was cooked just right. German sausage thumbs up. ALSO, the place is gorgeous. All old school light fixtures, molding, detail. Pristinely preserved. And the service was awesome. Never saw the bottom of my coffee cup and the peeps here are warm, friendly and funny! We will be back. Just like they said. Best breaky I’ve had in a whiiiile.
