What a great place! I had the strawberry rhubarb tart and the spinach quiche. Both were fantastic. The quiche was light and fluffy! Ill be back
Tables are a bit close together could hear everything others around us talked about so no privacy for conversations a little crowded even at 10:30 am
First time in, new to area-No greeting, no smile. Ordered sandwiches. Tasty, but for almost $10.00, no chips, carrots or side what so ever. Will try again...maybe
Nice little place. Not going to wow you but also won't leave you disappointed either.
I love this place! Great tomato soup (on Tuesday and Wednesday) vegi sandwich and vegi panini!
Cute little cafe. Bread on my sandwich was especially good. I recommend getting a hot panini!
I love their icelandic pastries! They need to make more because they sure go quick.
We discovered Market Street three years ago. It is now our regular stop when traveling I-5. Lots of good options. The Brooklyn Bun takes me back to my childhood in Brooklyn NY and our local bakery.
One of the best spinach quiche I have ever tasted! I ended up buying one of their panettone Christmas breads too! Looks like all bakery items are made in the store and you can surely taste the difference!
Wonderful bakery, with gluten free options and amazing sour dough. Lots of yummy treats, local creations, and local art for your visual satiety too!
I've lived a lot of places, and this Sourdough is the absolute BEST I've ever had. I live 45 miles away so I buy enough to last awhile; ie., yes, I freeze it. Not only is it fantastic the first time around, but it is almost as fantastic when it is thawed, no toasting necessary. And the pastries... Oh, my!! Favorites "to go" are the chicken and swiss croissant and the icelandic pastry, but I've had a lot of choices and they're all terrific. That said, food orders had been a little slow in coming, but the pace has picked up recently.
Tasty with good service! Roasted vegetable Panini is wonderful!
I went to this establishment to grab treats and sweets but stayed for their clam chowder special. This place has the comforts of home with gentle talk and laughter. Very family friendly with what looked like a kids corner on the right when I first walked in. Their baked goods are absolutely delicious! I had a box of mixed good with peanut butter cookies, brownies, and tarts. Their cheesecake is also wonderful and the fruit on top is the perfect amount. The stay was nice and friendly. I enjoyed hanging out in the cozy atmosphere with my book and chowder.
Their breads....are fabulous! Their crossaints...are to die fir especially the ham & cheese ones hot out if the oven...heaven!
Except for my experience today I would have given this place a 5. Today when I walked in there was a lady walking towards me (that worked there) didn’t acknowledge me and looked very angry the whole time I was there. When I I got up to the register the lady was helping her boyfriend with his order. This lady did not acknowledge me either said to her boyfriend she was going on a break soon. Went quickly in the back and didn’t say anything to me for example there will be someone to u in a minute or so on and so forth. I don’t know if she even told the people in the back there was a customer. After a while a young man came out and he was awesome. I was acknowledged and told I will be with you in a minute. I then asked if there was someone in the back that could help me since I was only picking up a cheesecake and it was already paid for. I could not believe the service cuz usually it is the opposite. I hope the manager is going to read this cuz I think she needs to know. I tried calling but there was no answer. My husband and I go there a lot so I am hoping it won’t happen again. Thank you
We normally love this place but our last visit 6/14/22 was disappointing. We ordered a chai, apple tart, and a Ruben panini. When we ordered chi’s in the past they were in to go cups and a chai tea latte- I asked the counter lady if she asked the size and she replied they come in a mug if you’re eating in. Ok. It was a hot cup of water with a tea bag on the side, I had never had to verify in the past. Finally, the “pastrami” looked and tasted like it had come out of a bag of budding (cheap). I ate most of it because I was starving but never again.
Take home and try their cranberry walnut bread grilled with sharp cheese. Wonderful!
I absolutely love to stop by here and grab some baked goods when I can.
Great service, friendly faces and wonderful baked good. I love their salads, soups and sourdough bread. They also have a few gluten free desserts which is nice! A great spot for a meeting with a friend.
My go to downtown lunch spot! Their sourdough is hands down the best I have had, I now buy a loaf a week. The girls in there are always super pleasant and sweet.
