Great food, expect to wait. They don’t take credit cards, maybe as a shrewd move to keep the kitchen from getting backed up, but on a general weekend brunch there will be a long line and it takes 5-10 minutes for each person to put their order in as they take Venmo and it people fiddle with their phones to figure out how to pay. Great place to go if you have nothing to do and don’t mind spending 2 hours for brunch (half of it in line), if you’re looking for something more normal timed, Mariposas next door is more appropriately timed.
It’s been a few years since I’ve been here, but this place never disappoints. Check instagram for what they’re serving, be prepared to wait because this place is well worth it.
the most delicious and cute. Shoutout to dipping the pb tahini cookie in your coffee - it's amazing!
Unripe cantaloupe served on top of egg?!?! Who does that? Also potatoes were super cold. All for the affordable price of $19.
Eggs 🥚 Benedict Amazing
Probably the best biscuit I have ever had in my life. I odered the brisket hash, which was great. My wife had the chanterelle confit which was equally as good. We ate there with a group of 6 and it was relatively easy to find a seat. This place is very quaint, bus your own tables and order at the counter, but we will definitely be back!
TIP: They take cash, check, or Venmo. I paid with Venmo, with no problem. Our party of four arrived about 10 minutes before opening time on a Sunday, and there were three additional parties outside when they opened the door. My husband and I ordered the poblano frittata and it was huge. We each got three meals total from this single entree! My Americano was also quite good, although they didn't have any stevia or another "fake sugar" other than some sugar-free vanilla syrup to sweeten it with. Staff were super friendly and as helpful as they could be considering the limitations of the menu. I can't give 5 stars because the menu is not customizable in any way, so my friend with a dairy allergy had only one, boring, option - the standard breakfast. But overall we were pleased and we'll come again in the future, after giving the menu a close look ahead of time.
We came a few minutes before they opened and there was a line up at the door. It felt very chaotic as they opened and the line up kept growing. We were lucky to get a table. I got the poblano frittata and it was one of the best breakfast dishes I’ve ever had. All ingredients worked so well together. The portion was huge (left with lots of leftovers). The frittata had layers of eggs, peppers and potatoes and I could taste some goat cheese. The giant beans on the side went well with the dish. Their Americano was smooth and the rice crispy dessert was delicious. I can see why the line up never ended. This place is amazing! Cash, check or Venmo only.
Amazing food, consistent in their brilliance. Always an interesting menu, that continues to delight. Their coffee and baked good are amazing too!
5 stars is no joke. I love food of all kinds but it's not often I go to a place in America and I'm like "damn, that's extremely good". This place is that place. The atmosphere is chill and awesome. Staff are awesome. I highly recommend this place
I love this cute place they serve fabulous food and are so friendly. Some really great options on the menu and also a wonderful bakery. The only thing that could be improved is having real dishes and utensils, the plastic forks snapped a few times. I definitely recommend coming here.
This place is *ridiculous.* The food was out of this world fantastic. What an imaginative and utterly original menu! The flavors were super unique and the pastries were incredible too. The espresso was delicious and the service was a delight. What a great spot.
Seriously one of the best and unique meals I've had in a long time. The flavor combinations are so different from what you find in most bakeries and shops that it was hard picking just a few to try! I ended up getting the veggie terrine meal which was fantastic. A side salad with super fresh greens and tomatoes, a fried egg on top of the terrine (which had a wonderful combination of perfectly cooked veggies enveloped by a light but not an overly flaky pastry crust),and all covered with a yummy tatziki-like yogurt sauce that I am absolutely going to try emulating at home. And all of that doesn't even include the tahini peanut butter cookie, walnut biscotti, pistachio cardamom shortbread, and peach pie that I'm saving for later! The setting is lovely, and all of the employees were exceedingly warm and generous in a very authentic way. I'm in love and would absolutely recommend and come back the next time I visit.
Delicious food, great ambience good price point for the amount of food you get. Staff were efficient and friendly.
Very cool place in a cool town. Don’t miss out on a coffee, freshly baked treat, or something savory. I ended up getting an iced latte and slice of the peach pie (it was gone before I could take a picture). DELICIOUS. There is patio seating in the back and some in the main area. Staff was friendly.
Some of the best food in the state! Cozy & eclectic atmosphere, friendly & wonderful humans, & the most delicious breakfast & lunch.
Best Mocha. Best Brunch. Local foods, awesome people.
Historic cute little place. Best this was the old fashion bottled coke. I ordered a Tuna casserole. They delivered it to the table very proudly. BURNT!! 🥵
Coffee and pastry, sitting at a roadside table watching people walk by. Good simple food and fresh ingredients...
Excellent lunch - our first visit here, definitely won't be our last.
