A nice small place for coffee, tea, or light brunch fare. Good balance of flavors in the soup, ingredients all felt very fresh for our Salmon Lochs Microgreen Hot Honey Biscuit, and most of the food and drinks are caringly crafted right there. Also a decently sized semi-private room in the back for a group outing or meeting. Shares a building with a pub style place, so a good place to visit at any time of day I would imagine.

After have the good fortune of discovering Narrative down in Everett, we had to include a stop here while visiting Bellingham. Same great food and same fantastic coffee (I go fairly purist with the espresso and milk, but my daughter might convert me to having the occasional lavender mocha!)

Checked out their outpost in Everett first, and enjoyed the Bellingham outpost today! Cute space, delicious looking pastries, they even have take home biscuits for sale to make at home! Ordered drip coffee but there was only like a half of cup left so he offered to make me an americano too if I didn’t have time to wait which was super nice! I also took a cookie to go with me and it was excellent! Soft and chewy, but not crumbly or too soft. Good chocolate flavor!

Cool little coffee shop! A had the peach tea which I’m not going to lie was a tad pricey however I was amazingly surprised at how good it was! It seemed like they really took the time to make sure I got what I paid for. Will definitely come back and try other things here

I wanted to like this location as much as the Everett location. Bellingham is my hometown and i was estatic that Narrative had arrived. The problem is that some of the people working here are " tool cool for school". I'll never understand, why people feel the need to roll their eyes or try to educate you about your beverage order. I asked for an iced Anericano with some oat milk and got a entire lecture. Some of us just want good coffee and want to drink it in peace. I don't need some psuedo- elitist giving me an eye roll and a coffee education in some pretend accent.

Cute spot if you're looking for a drink, snack, or meal and don't need to worry about a budget. The atmosphere is clean and kind, it's at a solid location, and shares a building with the store next door. Good place to meet people or go on a date or get some work done. One bathroom and a larger room for meetings or larger parties. Tiny single person tables, not much in the way of seating. Be warned, everything is expensive. The drinks/food/pastries are priced to the point where I won't be returning because it would be financially irresponsible. Wish I made enough money to come here often, but hey.

Super torn on this place! It's delicious, but way overpriced. I ordered a 16oz iced vanilla latte and it was $7.75 (before tip). I don't mind paying that much for a unique specialty drink but this was a basic drink with regular cows milk. Chocolate chip cookie is very good ($4).

Wildly expensive cup of drip and a stale croissant first thing in the morning.

Cool spot and awesome staff. Quite pricy, but what isn't these days. Would love to see some coffee alternatives on the menu in the future though!

Cute little place tucked in next to Elizabeth Station! Limited seating so get there early. You can get pastries from the Mount Bakery, or order from their own menu (the French toast is amazing). Espresso menu is pricey but the drinks were unique and delicious!

Found this coffee shop online. Very nice and clean. Food and coffee obviously not mass produced Starbuck type. It was excellent.

Great coffee, great space (tight at some times) — but crazy expensive! $50 for breakfast is nuts. I think it’s close to $4 (so more than 5 after tax+tip) for a drip coffee, which feels like robbery. Food is good, but you’ve got to save up.

Always a win. I usually get the breakfast sandwich. & the helpful staff helped me realize there’s a GF option too for the biscuit. Tasted exactly the same! Also, the atmosphere here is warm & inviting. Definitely a great choice for a second Narrative location.
