Great service, but the food is even better. I loved the traditional dishes. Also we stayed in the cabin and very clean and accommodating. -Rob Levy
We rented one of the King cabins. It was so cute inside. The bed was super comfy . My only problem was that they sent me an email with information that had times of when lobby and restaurant open and closed. The times were not correct.
They have remodeled the rooms and they look really nice, the one we stayed in.) The TV. Was Huge too 😁 They have a Bakery and Restaurant. We ate breakfast at the Bakery side. The food was delicious and simple 😋
Remodeled rooms, a great cafe with a case of delicious desserts, and a restaurant that served wonderful Ukrainian cuisine. I learned that a talented and accomplished chef comes from out of town to cook on the weekends for the restaurant. My bestie and I went to soak in the gorgeous, wood-fire, heated cauldron, on our way to Mt Rainier, for my 22 year old son's first birthday across the rainbow. It was perfect.
The place absolutely looks like a Ukrainian Village! I threw me back to when I was young going to my babushkas house for the weekend. The rooms are very comfortable and have a very nice design to them. Whoever thought this place through really knew what to do. Highly recommend it! The views are gorgeous!
The location was perfect, just 5 miles from the entrance of Rainier National Park. Rooms are just as advertised. The beds were very comfortable. Loved the heated floors in the bathroom. We ate dinner the first night of our stay, the service was great and friendly. Our food was so tasty and the portion sizes were fantastic. We returned home and noticed we had forgotten some of our items in the room, called up to see if the items were found and they had them at the front desk, they graciously offered to ship us our items.
This was a great experience. I was in Ukraine and missed their style. The cannibal tub amazing as well as the spa. The spa and tub are very well maintained. Thank you for your hospitality.
Very hospitable ownership, and will take care you. Rooms are well maintained :) would recommend to any visiting the park.
First time trying borsch and it was sooooo good. My partner had the dumpling soup and it was delicious and comforting. Can’t wait to come back one day! Such a lovely property.
I was so impressed with our stay here Feb '23. The hotel and restaurant is run by Ukrainians, and their cuisine and hospitality were excellent! Very clean and comfortable accommodations, including a great shower and bathroom. Close to Mt Ranier. Highly recommend!
Booked a room for one night here because of good reviews, however the reality is quite the opposite. The lobby is closed for service and only one staff at the restaurant, who was not helpful at all and threw “I don’t care at all” attitude while being very cold. Arrived at the hotel a few hours early than the check in time (3pm) because Mount rainier is closed beyond Longmire. Me: “ Can I use the restroom here?” Staff: “No, it is being cleaned.” Me: “Can I check into my room?” Staff: “No, your is not ready (not even have my ID or check in the booking system) and every room is being cleaned.” “being cleaned” , what an excuse! No show of hospitality and not worthy of staying at all. I chose not to stay here even the money will go waste.
When we arrived, we thought we were at the wrong place. The pictures and videos on their website are a bit deceiving. The grounds are not well taken care of. The accommodations were ok, not great. Some wood floor planks were very loose.
Had a girl's getaway with some of my coworkers. We came for a Monday night and everything exceeded our expectations. The room was beautiful and cozy, the cannibal hot tub was a fun experience, dinner at the restaurant was delicious (try the gnocchi!) The staff was super helpful and friendly, they put salt on the steps up to our room because it was icy, and someone shoveled the snow around our car in the morning. Now we're having breakfast and coffee in the cafe. This is what we all needed to relax and unwind for a bit! Plus it's such a beautiful location.
I didn't get to stay but the staff was extra helpful in getting me a refund. It's nice to know that people that run this business care and are nice people
The room (#9) was separated from the other rooms - so it was really quiet. The bed is really comfortable too. I had some pierogis for lunch and Mac and cheese for dinner - both were really good. They seem to get busy at certain times and service can be pretty slow. The cappuccino I had in the am was not the greatest but the lemon cake was good. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.
Upon arrival, it turned out that we accidentally booked two rooms instead of one. At that point they couldn't cancel the room so they gave us credit to use within a year! The service was great and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Great place to stay!
Loved the borsch and pierogis! Rustic, open dining room plan. Space for families.
Great spot, service and food! Lovely local for an espresso and lunch. Would come back again.
Had lunch here today during our vacation. Food was excellent and the service was even better. Jamey seemed to effortlessly accommodate the entire lobby single handedly and even had time to greet and have conversations with everyone who walked in. She was very sweet and attentive. We had the Polish Piorgies for the first time and would definitely try them again. Crepes and macarons were excellent dessert choices as well. Will definitely return next time we vacation here!
Great place to stop and check it out Had some food Looks like there is 1 wood burning spa
