It's a beautiful place that reminded of my waffle shop in Washington d.c. back at the year 1976 ( food was excellent. 😘😘😘

This is really a lunch counter. VERY SMALL. Cook is also server etc. That would be ok if he had not taken a 10 minute personal call after taking our order. Food was good..not great. They did not have today ( early Saturday) 1/2 of what was on the menu.. food served in 1/2 of Styrofoam take out box. Utensils are small plastic. And somehow an omlet and my "meat mess" came to $36. Lower your expectations and you will be ok. I won't be back.

Can't talk more positively about this place. Diesel does everything solo here and it's amazing how well he handles it all. You can see him mentally prepare before he starts each order and then gets to work. I certainly will be back here again.

This was the best breakfast I have had in a long time. It was nice seeing someone who knows their way around a flattop grille and who puts out one of the greatest breakfasts you'll ever enjoy. Great service also. Thank you.

I've been eating Diesel's food since his family ran the Apple Valley Cafe. We come in every year and one year was devastated to see it closed, so since across the street from The GW was this little diner, we had to eat somewhere and guess who was running it! Best surprise ever!!! I could eat breakfast there every day but unfortunately only make it to Winchester once a year for 4-5 days. Looking forward to a great Veggie Scramble!

This place blew my mind. Fantastic food with extremely generous portions! I don't think I saw a single person who ate everything put in front of them. This was a one man show and he gave my wife and I better service than a restaurant with a full wait staff. Great coffee, great food, great service, great vibes. Definitely coming back here.

Delicious coffee, big portions and the owner "Diesel " was fast and entertaining to watch work. He runs the place like a pro and everyone there got good service and was happy. What a treat.

Amazing breakfast food prepared before your eyes! There was only one dude in there running the whole place. Watching him work was amazing. His movements were rhythmic and methodical. He was multitasking between cooking various orders, preparing plates, washing dishes, chopping potatoes, etc. The little diner was full, and not all of his customers were the most personable. But he stayed totally calm and handled everything like a champ. Nothing broke his stride. He got a $20 tip for his work ethic alone. Had a great experience at this place. Would highly recommend. Ate the largest, most loaded omelette I had ever eaten in my life along with some very tasty French toast

We LOVE going to the Piccadilly Grill Diner on Piccadilly St in downtown Winchester, VA. This man is a pleasant energy, friendly, and personable. The way he bounces effortlessly between roles; owner, host, waiter, cook, cashier, and the bus boy. Starting at 5am this morning, this hard-working man deserves your visit if you “don’t know” what you are in the mood for. I wanted breakfast and Matt wanted lunch, and it was made at the same time, on the same grill, and is SO delicious. His generous portions, delicious food and clean atmosphere keeps us coming back.

Buyer beware: our bill was 33% higher than expected. The gentleman at the register pointed to a little piece of paper stuck to the menu that said "prices subject to change" and that was it, that was the explanation. So good luck.

Abed (owner) was wonderful to us!!! Our first time there and the food was amazing!!! The price was more than fair and the portions were huge!!!! We can't wait to go back. It's so small and adorable. Abed is the cook, cashier, bus boy, server and all around a great guy. 5 stars from my hubby and I!!!!

I came a little after 2 The open sign was still on and the man told me that he was closed and he wouldn't wait on me. I drove up from Barryville Virginia to eat here and I find it extremely rude.

Definitely worth a try I almost passed it because I thought it was closed. I ended up finding parking quick so I figured Id walk up and try the door and I'm so glad I did. I was going over to papermill but a friend had told me about here and I will now be stopping here before even thinking of going back to papermill
