I love this cute little coffee shop so much! It’s in an old house and it just feels so cozy. There is plenty of seating inside and out so you can make yourself comfortable while getting your caffeine fix. The lattes are really good and the sandwiches are fresh and tasty. The menu changes seasonally so there’s always a good variety of items to choose from. The folks that work here are super friendly and do a great job ringing people up, making the food/drinks, and bringing orders out. If you need a locally owned coffee spot to check out, give this place a visit.

This is the best place hands down. Besides the great food and coffee, the staff is filled with the sweetest people. I’m so glad my boyfriend and I found Sawdust, without it we would’ve missed out on some great bagel sammy’s and amazing bonds. It’s evident this is more than a job for them all; I’ve never felt anything short of welcomed.

This is a fantastic place of coffee. They offer a wide variety of everyone’s favs but I find the conversation, distribution of Onyx coffee, and the kid souls hanging out to be the winning recipe. Skip the latte, get a pour over and a scone, and enjoy the porch life.

Great old house turned coffee shop with all the right vibes ! The coffee was great and we had a breakfast burrito and croissant and would 100% recommend. Lots of different places to sit including a wrap around porch. Reminded me of a homegrown Oregon coffee shop, but maybe that is just Pungo’s style.

Very cute and kitschy house renovated into a cafe, with various rooms converted into seating areas for guests. It's an absolute must see and probably the coolest coffee shop in Virginia Beach, and the food and drinks are very good. Per my own local guide, we were desperately lucky the morning weather turned out moody and cold, otherwise we would have been waiting for upwards of hours or more for drinks and food. On the bright side, it's very much so a small local owned place where they remember you by sight alone and can come and find you with your coffee no matter where you are on the property, make all the food to order, and make everything (and it's delicious!!) in house. On the down side, when the line is encroaching on 1hr+ for a drink this system seems inefficient. The worst time to go is apparently right after church lets out on Sundays, although generally the weekends are packed. Also per my local guide, during summer weekends she actually goes to starbucks first for her caffeine fix before waiting in line for this place.

Fantastic in every way! Orange juice was so fresh. Coffee was beautiful. Their frittata eggs are heavenly creamy. Staff was friendly and warm. Highly recommend this place.

Came here after the two other places we were trying to go were either closed or busy- very happy it worked out that way!! Lovely place, really fresh and good food. I love lavender so I was so happy they had a lavender latte, it was delicious. I got the blt since I'm a big blt fan and it was one of the best I've ever had.

Fresh delicious homemade pressed orange juice, and Peach & Honey Latte. Cozy vintage 1800s Colonial rooms where you can gather with your friends and family to share a warmed homemade bagel. Really nice & friendly atmosphere. Makes me feel welcome and I am loving it!. 🥰💖😺

Stopped by this hidden gem for coffee and breakfast. From the outside it looks like a regular farm house you would see while driving the twisty roads of Princess Anne. On the inside, it's a cozy boho B&B (without the bed). It offers open seating pretty much anywhere on the property, you pick your experience. The coffee was heavenly! With homemade syrups and delightful flavor pairings, it's easy to see why you can spend your whole morning here. Both dishes were rich and savory in their own (see pics). The Belgian Waffle with fresh berries and maple syrup really sparked the taste buds. To really take the Grilled Cheese to the next level, be sure to add bacon & avo. You won't be disappointed! Sawdust road did an amazing job handpicking their staff! They were all friendly and helpful. They have the Pungo hospitality that really made dining here an experience.

Delicious pastries, well crafted espresso, and cozy drip coffee. I visited 4 different coffee shops during my VA Beach vacation and this place was superior to all of them!

Cold brew 7.5/10, food 8/10. Staff are always sweet but I have had to wait quite a bit for my food the handful of times I have been here. They make good use of the space inside and outside. The gravel lots make it difficult for wheelchair accessibility.

I've driven past this place so many times, I thought it was just an old house! The coffee is very good and the staff friendly. Definitely recommend it as a cozy kitschy place for a quality cup.

The coffee drinks are divine, especially the $5 iced coffee blends. But ever since COVID-19 their customer service has gone downhill! Two out of the last three times I have been there, have been marred by wrong items delivered and/or long wait times. It is like they cannot figure it out since the pandemic. But the drinks are very good!
