Atmosphere was great. I really enjoyed the octopus takoyaki and my caramel latte was one of the best I’ve had. I give 3 stars because we were being rushed by staff during our time there, 2 hours. So we didn’t feel relaxed as our conversations we’re constantly interrupted by staff speeding up our dining process while there weren’t many people there. And my beef sandwich was not the same as advertised on the menu. It tasted how it looked. And for $11.50 and the type of place it is, I expected better.
Today we took my mother in-law for a late Mother’s Day celebration! We got a table quickly, the atmosphere is very pleasant but the staff is not overly friendly. They don’t know the menu and ask for the numbers next to the items on the menu. After we paid they cleared everything off our table like they wanted us to leave but then told us to take our time. The tiered finger foods were very good, just the right amount. I had the cold rose milk tea which I also enjoyed. I would have given this place 5 stars but customer service is lacking.
It was a great experience with this fancy tea house. The ambiance is very fancy and the food was great! The price is very reasonable and delicious 😋
Excellent service! I did a reservation and was thoroughly assisted all throughout our stay with kindness and they are very hospitable. Julia and Ann were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!
If I could give negative stars, I would. Super disappointed with my visit here. I was looking forward to trying out the teas. The server was extremely rude and started lecturing me when I had questions about the food on the menu. She told me to that maybe I should cook food at home or try a different restaurant and to go see a doctor. I was so taken aback by they way she was talking at me. All I did was ask questions about the allergens and inform the server of which we had because it said to do so on the menu. On top of that, we ordered just tea… and no napkins, sugar or stirring spoons were given. My husband had to stand up and ask for some. Spoons they gave were chipped. Needless to say, I won’t be back or recommending this place. There’s plenty of other tea places in Virginia Beach that are 100% better.
I have celiac, so gluten free, not by choice. I had been to Prince Tea House on Holland 4 or 5 times with no complaint. The GF menu is small, but tasty. Today I ordered one of the two items I usually get and reminded (pointed out on the gf menu) that the menu item is only gf when cookies and wafers are not included. The dish was brought out with wafers and cookies, so I double checked if they started using gf wafers and cookies. I was told it was gluten free. I said the menu says the cookies and wafers have gluten and asked the server to double check. She came back and had pulled out the little wafers and said "Now it's gluten free." First of all, it still had cookie crumbs everywhere, and second of all, I would have gotten sick from the wafers having been in the food. I said I could still not eat it because of the contamination of the food and she told me rather harshly that there was gluten all over the kitchen, but she could make it for again. At that point I wasnt trusting anything made in the kitchen today. Probably won't be back, and if the kitchen can't be bothered to make gluten free food, then they shouldn't advertise it on the menu.
Great place to celebrate Mother’s Day with my beautiful daughter and granddaughter! We got “Tea for Three” and it was perfect ☕️Service, food and atmosphere all good ! They were having a baby shower and a birthday party and still managed to take good care of us!
If I could give them a zero, I would. They lost a reservation I made over a month ago. Even after discussing vegetarian options for my party. The manager called me a "LIAR" to my face and stated "they dont take reservations but were now booked for that day." They are unprofessional, unorganized, and they do NOT value their patrons. Do not waste your time or money on this place.

This place is always a spectacular outing! The food is fabulous and the atmosphere is wonderful! It's a great place for a shower or birthday party!
The food was very good and I didn't mind paying for it along with relaxing atmosphere plus a tasty drink. The cake was tasty as well but it was more a fruit salad then a cake but sweet and savory still.
Want expecting an Asian tea room. I was disappointed it wasn't English. Food was ok, again, not as expected. Won't return, as I prefer to European High Tea. The staff were very friendly, although not able to answer our questions. No recommendations provided.

The tea and food were great, our entire party loved it. About 30 mins into our time, our waitress disappeared. The rest of the time we were there, we didn’t have anyone assigned to us. I had to flag other waiters/waitresses to get anything at the table. At the end the billing was also a bit of a mess as we received 2 bills each, one from each waiter/waitress who stepped up to help our table.
Had dual birthday high tea lunch with The bestie! Everything was delicious! The atmosphere is delightful and the staff is very attentive.
Instagramable place, the tea sets are cute. It's best to just get the set menu. Tea+cake. If you're worried about the taste, DON'T! You're missing out if you don't try their cakes & tea! We got passion fruit tea and it was delicious! Their small cakes are so good! I'm surprised. Also, don't skip the fried chicken.
2nd time visit was just as pleasant as the first.. the food is good.. the drinks are top tier.. had the tower for two.. the scones were the best of the tiers.. the mini molten lava cake was perfectly molten.. the fruit tarts had excellently selected crisp fruits.. and the tea sandwiches were divine.. particularly the roast beef/ham? Wasn't quite sure what the deli sliced meat was but was full of flavor for such a tiny thing.. need to come back and try other teas.. the mocktails are just addicting especially for on a hot day..
My friends and I had a reservation for a birthday at Prince Tea House. Someone got there late, but she was still able to order things afterwards. We loved our food and the services; they were amazing!! ❤️😁
The ambiance is lovely and cozy. We didn't try the tea, but the cake was delicious. Service was great.
Loved this cute spot. Chill and inviting environment with scrumptious food and teas. Will 100% go again... multiple times.
