The past few times I’ve went I really enjoyed this place and the employees were great but the most recent visit I was unfortunately disappointed. Ordered to go- few drinks, Cuban sandwich, and a BLT. The BLT didn’t have lettuce instead there was only spinach. For a $10 sandwich just let me know I’ll pick something else I am flexible. The taste is completely different when you only have spinach. Cuban sandwich I swear didn’t have Swiss Cheese but another type. Was a bit heavy on the mustard. Drinks were good as usual I will say that. According to the other reviews it’s very hit or miss lately. Not willing to experience another miss.
Have been to the shop on several occasions and the service was slow but overall acceptable. Today, we had a delivery service of cinnamon rolls (6) to be exact and some other pastries. I think that the cinnamon rolls were very old as they were very hard, dry and not edible!!! We even tried warming it. There is no way that the cinnamon rolls were fresh as I have eaten them before. This feedback homes from the 6 individuals that were given a cinnamon roll. I tried to call their google number to give them the opportunity to correct the issue and it goes to voicemail which is full.
I was so excited to find quesitos and tembleque in the area. The quesitos were small and still frozen inside, the tembleque had no flavor. I paid $19 for the three items, which included a $1 to go fee. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.
Great atmosphere! They have a pacman 1up arcade (which is free to play) and a giant connect 4 which is really cool to see in a coffee shop. The only downside is the price of the coffee and pastries. $21 for a flight of 4-10oz coffee's? Won't be ordering that again. All in all though, it's got great music and seating. Will go back for a regular coffee
Idk why the reviews are so mixed lately because this place is great! The drinks came out in like 5 minutes and the food in under 10, everything tasted great! The pastries are sooo good, especially the tiramisu and the guava thingys. And the staff was very kind and smiley. Don’t listen to the negative reviews, just a bunch of salty entitled people.
This a very nice coffee shop, complete with pasties and places to sit and study, read/write, or socialize. It’s spacious and clean. Our entire family loved the experience and we will be back.
Great coffee but I recommend you eat elsewhere. Unfortunately they struggle to keep up on that end even when not super busy. It took 25 minutes for 1 pastry and a couple of sandwiches.
Terrible Experience. Waited Extremely Long For Our Order, The Flight Was Disgusting , All Flavors Except One. Food Was Still Cold. Got A To Go Order That Took An Hour To Get, Just For Something To Be Missing And Have To Wait Even Longer. Will Never Go Back & The Lady Who Brought Us Our Stuff Was Rude.
I wanted to like this place since someone recommended it on a coffee tour they did. We were excited to get a coffee flight since that seemed to be their most advertised offering. We got a “First Class Flight” (6 flavored espresso drinks) which was around $27. Four of the six were undrinkable…the cold brew was particularly bad. Highlight of the flight was a caramel macchiato. We also got an order of avocado toast and the Cuban Bagel (Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on Puerto Rican bread). The avocado toast was burnt and was smothered in a sauce. The Cuban Bagel was also burnt and the bread clearly had been frozen before, and the egg was way overdone. We couldn’t finish our food. Extremely mediocre. Our total for the order was almost 50 dollars. I wish I could have gotten my money back. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Pour Favor.
Coffee took the longest to come out. They were short staffed which was understandable. But less than half of the selections we had tasted like they had flavor. The most expensive was the flights at about 34$ and we enjoyed it the least. The food was mostly bread with a small amount of egg on it. Really wasn’t happy or satisfied with the86$ bill. Wasn’t worth it at all.
The perfect little coffee shop for studying and some killer hispanic pastries, and loads of cake and cheesecake. So so yummy. Loved the atmosphere and vibes as well.
Okay coffee, nice ambiance but staff was very rude and the sandwiches were terrible 😅 I get that working at a coffee shop isn’t your forever job but why look and act so miserable? Why be obviously irritated if I inquire about my meal after waiting 20 minutes after our coffees? I won’t be coming back unless it’s just to quickly grab a coffee and leave.
Food is not authentic staff is not professional they may be nice but rude when I asked how much longer my food would be the sandwich I ended up getting was about the size of my hand, and on the other side of it was totally burnt which I wouldn’t have known until I walked out of the restaurant and turned the sandwich upside down to see that it was totally burnt
I waited a good two weeks to post this to make sure I was unbiased and to fairly process. I have come to the place twice I go to the gym right by it and the two times I stopped I was like why not I have time after the gym. Customer service TRASH the short lady at the register not a people person I feel like I have to rush to make an order. The second day I was there I’m “guessing” it was the owner. The whole time I’m standing there waiting for my oatmeal that was bought from another store and was plain I might add. The owner I’m guessing he is speaking in a totally different language which is fine that’s not the issue, but I’m a customer and he looked at me three times never spoke. Also my order was not taken so he never asked do I need help or has my order been taking. The Chai Tea I got was watery the store bought oatmeal $5-6$ no flavor dry as hell. The best pat of the store was PAC-MAN I’ll probably go back to beat the score…….
Cute coffee place. Fast wifi and really good cold brew.
a really cute place that i wanted to try out. the atmosphere was great, super nice staff, building was cute overall. the pastries looked really good, but didn’t get any because we ordered food. we got a chai (unsweetened) a matcha latte, and a cuban sandwich. the chai was super sweet, the matcha was okay and the cuban was meh. wish the meat had more flavor
I enjoy simple brew coffee. Sorry I am not up to the latest trend of different way to make coffee. The people at the counter are very rude and once actually said maybe you need to get your coffee at McDonald’s. The other young lady pointed out my Dany Dietz memorial shirt and said geez another wanna be trump fan. I did educate her on who Danny Dietz was and his action that day. I am handicap and might not look like the yuppie cliental but my money is good and I shouldn’t be made fun of because I didnt understand why a coffee house wouldnt have drip coffee. If you are a 20 something with a rude attitude this is the place for you.
Small, quaint coffee shop. Tight seating, even when the crowd subsided. Coffee flight was a nice choice. The latte I had later was a little too sweet, even with sugar free syrup(s). Only two sugar free syrup options (vanilla and caramel). The breakfast burrito was disappointing; for almost $10 it was half the size a normal burrito and came on a paper plate with a handful of Tostito Rounds chips. Service depends on individual staff and how busy; had a friendly and attentive first order when it was busy and the second order when it was slower, the barista vocalized how reluctant she was to go to the register to take my order.
Love this coffee shop! Staff is great, and the food/drinks are perfection! I hope they expand and add more seating!
Messed up multiple orders in our group and it's not clear what drinks are iced. The employees were helpful though even after the long wait for food.
