I’m from the way north where I’m used to pasties (a pie crust outside, filling inside) so I was delighted to see something similar offered here. I ordered ham and Swiss and an Italian sausage one, cup of coffee (they have flavored coffees) and a water. My kids ate the ham and cheese and I LOVED how they diced the ham so it was easy for the kids to eat. I WILL be back. Everything was served hot but not burning-mouth hot. Kid friendly breakfast options, too.

There is no reason for you not to come here and eat. You come here and you eat the Kolache and you will be happy for 99 years.

I make it a point to stop in if I'm on this side of town. Super friendly staff. They'll give you tips on how to store and reheat if you want to keep a few days on stock 😉

Tl;DR: Not worth the money I spent. I lived in Texas for a number of years. Every weekend, my family would go to a actual Czech Bakery to get both authentic and "Texas style" Kolaches (AKA breakfast pig in a blanket). I've drove by the factory plenty of times, but never actually ordered anything from there. Having the Kolache craving, I made the leap and got the country style breakfast, the bacon/egg/cheese, the apple(they didn't have Strawberry available), and cream cheese. The breakfast kolache filling was not warmed long enough even though they asked if I wanted it warmed or not and the flavor was bland. Out of the 4, I liked the cream cheese one, but as I stated earlier. Not worth the trip or the money. I will be making my own Texas style Kolaches from now on until I go back to Texas for a visit.

Currently so obsessed with this place. I've always passed it, not knowing...wow do I feel crazy now! I am in a deep foodie trance with this place right now. Everything I've tried has been fresh, the bread is so soft with a touch of sweetness to it. I continue to order at least 3 of the pizza, because it's utterly delicious. It's literally STUFFED with pepperoni, cheese, and sauce. I preferred it warmed, but it's really good no matter how you eat it. You also have the option, as they'll ask if you want it warmed or not. I really recommend it! I also really love the bbq, and the cream cheese. There's just so many to choose from, thag I end up wanting a dozen or so. They're very filling, but I'd recommend ordering some for home. (I order a lot for work to eat during the day working from home.) The service is always so fast and simple. Everyone I've seen there has always been kind, and very helpful. The ambiance is always very calm and quick. Not overwhelming, and very easy to get and go. Also, if you check in you get a free one! (I believe sausage and cheese). I must add also if you sign up for their rewards program you receive a free kolache of the month! So worth it. My free one was the chorizo, and let me tell you I gave one to my dad and it blew his mind! I can't say enough how awesome this place is, and good everything I've tried has tasted. What I love the most is that it's simple. It isn't trying to ne anything over the top. They sell quality food, at a really good price, and it's fast. You really can't beat that for a takeout place. Simple, delicious, quick, and easy. I am SOLD. I hope their quality continues at this level, so I can continue being a fan. Very good quick weekend breakfast/lunch also.

Variety is okay, out of some things, others discontinued or made at another store. Kolache factory for most is that at least they are consistent. Public, you have all heard the following statement and I am sick of hearing it. "There doesn't seem to be much backlash as we raised our prices, so far minimal complaints" Well,in my reviews for now on, I will say, the public does care, and we are tired of the price gouging. Otherwise, corporate owns us, and I am sick of it. At least the Kolache factory was fair in some minimal upcharges. Forgive the rant but we need more of it.

We eat here every Saturday, part of our Saturday ritual.. my only complaint is getting 6+ kolaches warmed up all at once usually means they are half cold... Not a huge deal, still tasty.

Stopped in for a quick bite yesterday and tried a few different kolaches and they were all delicious, the Ranchero one was my personal favorite. The service was outstanding as well. Jordan helped ring us up and they took extra care talking to our kids and including them in the process. The experience was so wonderful and we would definitely stop back in if we are in the area, so yummy!

First visit this morning. We ordered a ham, egg & cheese, a bacon, egg & cheese, a peach, and an apple. They were warmed for us. We thought they were good, but not amazing. We preferred the fruit kolaches over the savory ones. The coffee was hot but tasted burnt, and the soda fountain was down, and we were told only bottle water available for purchase. Overall, we are glad we stopped and gave it a try on this visit to VA Beach, but won’t be a must stop at in the future.

Let me tell you. If you haven't come here yet then you're missing out. I don't know of a place like this around here nor anywhere else. Now that I found this place it's saved on my normal to go to places. Got a Caramel Macchiato and it is soooooo delicious. First time coming here by the way. I got the Carolina Pulled Pork and the Brisket Kolache. Words can not describe how delicious this is. This is my new normal place now. I can't wait to try more items on the menu in the future.

The food has been great, up until I found a long hair baked into one of my kolaches....Now the thought of eating here again turns my stomach. :( Maybe wear hairnets please!
