I ordered the “biggest breakfast burrito” which was average size burrito, that I waited 30 mins for. I waited 10 mins for my coffee alone and then didn’t even get the muffin I ordered. So $26 for an average breakfast burrito and coffee with a side of my time being wasted. I’m all for supporting local businesses, but this place really isn’t worth the wait or money
Sooo good! A bit of a line, but it was prime time Saturday morning. And my coffee was amazing!! The staff was so sweet. Such a cool lil place. A couple blocks down from the beach but definitely within walking distance. And not in a sketchy area.

Place was amazing. Small place, friendly. Amazing food and owner was extremely nice and outgoing. We came all the way from Jersey and this was definitely a great find! Highly recommend!
I was in the area for vacation and I ordered from here on door dash, with high expectations for my bagels, I figured it would be mediocre at best, let me tell you. Was I WRONG. Super good bagels, just the right amount of all the creamy cheesy goodness and the coffee, YUM! Stop in to this place or order on door dash, you won’t be disappointed.
A locals safe haven! The owners of this place have created a community, not to amazing coffees, cappuccinos, you name it! I like their nitro cold brew and their big kahuna but you can’t go wrong with anything at Java surf!
Delicious every time. Great mellow vibe and smooth tasty coffee. I always get an almond milk mocha and savor every drop not a bit of bitterness in the flavor.
Solid coffee spot! They also have some good food! My only complaint is they close at 3p.
Always delicious and chill at Java. With TONS of spacious, outdoor seating and online ordering for drive up pickup (you don't even have to get out of your car, which is great when you have kids in the back). The staff is always friendly, attentive and helpful if you're having a hard time deciding. They're very welcoming. I haven't had anything I didn't like, but I'd definitely recommend the chicken salad, Lighthouse sandwich, scrambles and paninis. I love this place because it's easy for me to make a heathy choice or a delicious-stuff-my-face-hangover-cure one lol Also ANY of the coconut coffees will take you away to a happy place! There are lots of sides that are perfect for kids, like scrambled eggs, bagels and blueberry muffins. Love the vibe here--from the giant murals, to the flow of the seating layout, to the staff, to the food. We love supporting this neighborhood staple! Thanks y'all <3

Great food, coffee, and merchandise which makes the environment amazingly great. Staff was knowledgeable about me as a door dasher and great greetings were welcoming everytime I grabbed a customer's order

Enjoyed the surf atmosphere of this coffee house. The flat white I got was ok. The breakfast scramble was delicious. Too much to eat. Had to take home leftovers
$20 bad sandwich cold bread hot meat - $24 with tip, cockroaches on floor and waited 26 minutes for it to come out- being the one and only person in restaurant. 10/10 don’t recommend.
Greatly enjoyed the experience and the environment was excellent. Door dashing for them is easy and directions for pick up is easy to understand. Yesterday I finally got to enjoy my own coffee and it was amazing

Laid back coffee shop in the vibe district aaaaand the owner looks like Eddie Vedder. What else do ya need?👍 OH and the coffee selections were good.
