Disappointing afternoon tea experience. The sandwiches were dry and lacked flavor. It seemed like most of the stuff was bought from Costco and carelessly arranged on a three-tiered tray. None of the staff members came to check in, we had to get up multiple times to ask for hot tea refill, water etc. The environment was noisy, cramped and not the best place to enjoy an afternoon tea. I strongly advise against spending $50 on their afternoon tea; it simply does not live up to its price tag. The only decent thing was their lockma! I would suggest to buy those and eat at some nice park.

Coffee was bad, no flavor, cheese cake wasn't creamy. Not sure if I am coming back. 2 coffees and 1 cheese cake for $23 lol No place to put back plates, and parking was horrible

I have went to this place many times and have had a great experience. There was one young man who was a worker (was on the shorter side with long hair), he had a lovely and warming attitude and made me feel very welcome.

Went there recently. Didn't love that the lady/ owner was yelling at her male staff. Everyone looked unhappy and stressed. Considering the decor there should've been smiles all around but the place had negative energy. The Lokma was super sweet and oily. Coffee was mediocre at best. I would've loved to support them but they're not doing a great job.

It’s so pretty inside. Love the concept. I can’t wait for the old town cafe since I live there. I definitely recommend biscoff lokma and the lavender honey iced latte. The lavender is strong in this drink by the way. So just be aware! I still loved it :) Cons: I wished they had a calorie estimate for each menu item! It’s fine though.

Came here for the first time yesterday evening and it was a lovely experience! The staff were very friendly and incredibly patient as we were trying to decide what to order. They let you customize and make switches to your lokma fillings and toppings as you desire. We tried a variety of flavors, from the pistachio to the Ruby chocolate to the Nutella. The lokma was fried nicely and overall it was the right amount of sweetness. They were so tasty, and it was nice supporting a small business serving up an Iraqi treat! And of course, the interior is very Instagram- friendly with loads of places for photo ops. All in all, a lovely little spot to enjoy when you’re craving something sweet!

I got Pistachios Lokma .It was exactly the taste of tiny dounats with chocolate cream filling and cover with green cream ( pistachio, I guess ), but superrr sweet that it tastes just suger, not nuts . 5 very small pieces (about lollipop size) cost $13.57, which is so pricey. The interior design of the store was awesome and very cozy .I really liked it ! but I won't go for Lokma again cause I can get dounats somewhere else in manyyy flavors and chipper prices.

Very cute little cafe, desserts are delicious and the coffee is better than Starbucks! Definitely recommend.

The lokmas and their Iraqi tea is amazing! Nothing on the menu is expensive, but everything is very overpriced.

$12 for 5 lockmas. I love supporting small businesses and I understand they are trying to elevate a traditionally very cheap and casual ethnic donut but this is insane crazy. Was it good? Of course (thus 3 stars), fried fresh stuffed with chocolate, and very sweet (i got pistachio). Was it worth $2.50 per bite? I might as well fly to Egypt or Turkey and get these bad boys as it would probably be more cost effective. #supportsmallbusinesses

Not your avg coffee shop, inside you will greeted by wonderful staff and surrounded by PINK! every chair was pink, pink walls, loved the vibes in this place. Their chocolate is addicting, I loved the Honey cinnamon Latte. Added to my personal fave when I come back to DC area.

I went to Lily’s because of a post on social media. It looked pretty BUT when I went there it was so dirty and small. The customer service was not good at all neither and they overprice their food. The mini donut balls were so overly dipped in deep fry oil then. It was not what I thought I would expect. I really had high hopes for this place that me and my daughter left unhappy.

Never had lokma before Lily's. A sweet delight! Other desserts were good, too. Enjoyed my coffee. Loved the ambiance. Service was good. Would make the effort to visit again.

It’s okay. spend over 35 dollars for some balls covered in Nutella and was very disappointed because it’s very heavily loaded with nutella And count really enjoy it. The ambiance inside is very nice I’ll give them props for that.

I just went to this beautiful little place and had the most delicious dessert (lockmas). I tried the biscoff and chocolate flavors- and together with a salty caramel latte It was just heavenly! My new favorite dessert place 🥰🥰 so pretty and so delicious!

This coffee shop is so adorable! Everything inside is super pink. They have a large coffee selection. We ordered a honey lavender latte and a rose latte, and both were delicious. The coffees are definitely on the more expensive side. The parking is a little tricky, but I parked behind the building and it was easy to get in and out, you just have to walk a little extra.

i really wanted to like this place but the girl employee who was working there February 13th was so unfriendly and had so much attitude. Did not greet us and was not helpful at all. You guys should really work on your customer service and perhaps a simple smile as customers walk in or a hello would be nice its not too much to ask for i don't think. my family and i were very disappointed.
