Overpriced coffee shop with no service lol never going back lol
Knott's coffee company is a cozy place with good coffee. Their food has unique variations and original items.
Love their avocado toast. Great tea & coffee! Love da atmosphere! Highly recommended for breakfast n brunch!
Second time trying this place- overall quite expensive for subpar service and average food/drink. It was a friend’s first time and the cashier was rude about them a asking simple question about the menu. Their order was also completely wrong and we waited around 30 minutes. Lattes tasted great though!
I love their Matcha Lattes, especially the blueberry flavor. Very comfortable as a remote working location.
I love coffee and I used to love sitting, working, reading my bible or interacting Starbucks but the music is loud in there now that you can barley have a conversation. So I wanted to try somewhere new. This is my new place.. The avocado toast was amazing. Update: yes they have fruit flies in the back area but they are trying to catch them. I cannot imagine how uncomfortable it is to deal with as I had them in my kitchen. It's a small inconvenience for customers but a more embarrassment for the company who unfortunately cannot fight nature as well as others in a home.. I love the atmosphere and can get a lot of work done. More than at Starbucks
A little pricey, but service is quick, staff is friendly and the chocolate banana cold brew smoothie is amazing!
I’ve given this place multiple chances, think each experience may have just been a fluke. Honestly, I’d rather have Folgers at home. The cold brew is absolute garbage, I asked for one with Hazelnut and they must have filled half the cup because that’s all I could taste. I tried my wife’s mocha, same deal. Sour tasting chocolate syrup must have been 75% of what I was drinking. Zero taste of coffee. The actual shop is nice but it’s disappointing that the only coffee shop in the Harbour View area is terrible. Starbucks or Dunkin is better. If you want a specialty coffee shop, take the drive over to Norfolk and try one of the 50 shops that have that have real coffee.
Such a fabulous neighborhood coffee shop! I love it! Get the eye opener! Tried the bacon egg and cheese empanda and I wasn't in love. There's a ton of space too for meetings or working. I'll be a frequent flyer here! The coffee was great!
This place has quickly become my meeting spot with friends. The pastries and sweets are so delicious and the drinks slap every time. So glad it’s so close to home.
Pros: Great coffee, very nice aesthetics, friendly staff. Cons: The empanadas. Don't do it.
Nothing ruins a cute little establishment more than a bad attitude. The only shop in the Hamptons Roads area, I stop by almost everyweek on my way to physical therapy which is 27 min from my house. Today, 28, March 2023. The helper, not the nice young lady at the register..the helper got an attitude when I asked for 5 drops of hazelnut after she brought the coffee hmm okay, I get 2 usual empanadas on a platter, I said, "oh no, it's to go". Don't recall if the cashier asked or I volunteered the info. She huffed rolled her eyes and turned away. It's a shame I used to like coming here. I'm just one person. I'm sure they'll go on to do very well without me. Bless.
This place is tastefully eclectic with a modern boho style. My bf and I got the turkey club, southwest flatbread, and beef empanada to eat as well as the waffle latte and crush. All of it was good!
Knott's coffee is definitely one of the places I will visit again. I came in to get some lunch to take to a friend. It is a lovely coffee shop, very spacious and well appointed. The menu was quite extensive. The service was very efficient and surprisingly quick considering the crowd. The food was excellent. Definitely a five-star establishment.
I’m sad writing this review. I LOVE the empanadas, I thought I would enjoy the Turkey club. This is not a Turkey club. It’s a thin piece of Turkey with one slice of mozzarella on each half of the sandwich. They didn’t even make a whole sandwich and cut it in half. They made the sandwich in half. There was hardly any pesto on it. More lettuce and tomato than anything else. I feel like I wasted 12+ dollars on this sandwich. I didn’t even eat the second half it was so upsetting. 😭
Greatest coffee shop in the area. I met the love of my life there and every day just keeps getting better and better!
Was looking for a coffee shop that wasn't Starbucks and ran across this little shop. The shop is clean and very well organized and the staff are very kind.
Breakfast empanada, sausage egg & cheese, very good. Coffee was better than average. Dining room is well kept.
The atmosphere is great. The service is good but could be a little faster. The food...meh. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese empanada. I've never seen this before, so I was intrigued. Great idea. Not great execution. It was basically a huge scoop of somewhat dry scrambled eggs with maybe 5 or 6 bacon bits and about 3 shreds of cheese wrapped in an empananda shell. It could have been really good, but it just wasn't there. I also had a salted caramel mocha. The coffee was weak, there was absolutely no flavor of salt or chocolate, and only the barest hint of caramel. I love trying out local coffee shops, but think I'll keep looking.
Delish fresh bacon, egg, cheese empanada, apple coffee cake, and dark roast coffee in great setting. Worth a stop if driving in the area!
