Back again 5/31/23. Olivia was very kind and professional. Thank you Olivia! Yesterday was my 3rd time. The food was excellent and the atmosphere quaint. I appreciated Georgia and Ashley's attention to detail, and CJ's quick service...all this even with a large catered group for a dental hygienist showing up way early and causing the staff to scramble! Hopefully they tipped well :)

SO nice that there are gluten free options & that they’re so good! One of the only places I can eat in Sobo and delicious every time :)
I most get muffins and tea from her, but the English blend sandwhich is amazing. If you're not big on tons of cheese, ask for light cheese, though. The banana nut muffins are good, but I wish it had more banana taste and nuts in the muffin. I love the truffles they sale aswell♥︎

This is a great place and I stop by when I'm hungry and traveling through South Boston. It's my favorite choice of restaurant in the area. Small and quaint, a little San Francisco vibe. Great food. The SOBO chili is the best chili just about anywhere. Great breakfasts too!

Cream cheese stuffed French toast for breakfast is to die for.
Very very tasty barbecue sandwich. What a cool place to find especially in the middle of South Boston. This place has all sort of unique desserts such as crème brûlée cheesecake. I ordered the barbecue sandwich that comes with pickled coleslaw. All served on a large Kaiser bun. It was very delicious. I cannot wait till I am back in South Boston so I can grab me another one.
Southern is a favorite breakfast stop on trips through South Boston. Unfortunately, closed Sundays and Mondays.
We had a luncheon today I had the turkey wrap with cranberry orange dressing, mixed greens in a wheat wrap it was very delicious.
Very nice coffee shop, warm atmosphere and food was fresh and delicious. Broccoli soup with a cute corn bread. Great place,!

The atmosphere is very laid back and casual. I ordered a piece of cake and a cup of coffee, they were out of coffee but made some fresh for me. The breakfast is quite good and the owner is very friendly. The price is boutique, but not bad. A nice change of pace on occasion.
One of the BEST lattes I’ve ever had. Breakfast sandwich was delicious and the pastries are divine. Very quaint and friendly atmosphere!

Homemade menu that varies day to day. Today’s special—ratatouille over buttered noodles is fabulous! The squash casserole is delicious—fresh and not mushy as so many squash casseroles are. They have a new salad bar, which looked wonderful, but I’ll try that next time.
Southern Plenty has great food, great coffee, great smoothies, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
