I always like coming to baines. I always try to get here at least a couple times a week for the good atmosphere good drink and snacks.

My wife and I went to this wonderful little coffee shop and the hot chocolate and Cordato was amazing and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing along with the entire town of Scottsville, Virginia.

Very quaint and nice spot in the middle of Scottsville. A couple doors doors down from the brewery and they open late, for a coffee shop. Great coffee. Warm atmosphere. Lots of interesting books. Parking across the street
Got an iced vanilla latte with oatmilk that was really good. I think it's cool they have paper straws and cups are recyclable too. Great selection of books.

Very cute little coffee shop. Stopped on my way from Charlottesville to Raleigh and was delighted by the friendly southern hospitality. They have a small selection of books for sale and I enjoyed reading one about the history of the town. Highly recommend the brown sugar syrup in a latte!

Simple coffee shop. Not a huge menu, but who needs a ton of options. The family enjoyed the literary themes and books on the shelves. If you are looking to get lost in a book rather than halfway down an infinite, digital scroll than this place is for you. Coffee beans and books, are there two better smells in the world?
Great books, coffee selection and the staff is friendly as well as competent. Very relaxing environment. Clean bathroom.
