Great coffee and staff. First time having a nitro! Got one of their specialty lattes... sweet cardamom? Delicious! The couch near the window desperately needs replacing. Great vibe. ❤️ Will go back when I'm in town.

Incredibly pleased with this place! Ordered an avocado toast w/ Turkey and was pleasantly surprised that they added pickled onions (yum!), basalmic, paprika and shaved egg yolk. I also got their cold brew in my to go tumbler, added oat milk that they have in their self-serve fridge. Great experience!

Sweet little coffee shop in a tucked away historic neighborhood. What food options they had looked good but it was a very limited selection. The coffee on the other hand is delicious with an abundance of cool beverage options including chai and yerba mate for caffeine sensitive types. I saw lots of hikers the day I stopped in. Street parking only and just a handful of seats so it's pretty cozy.

Great food and coffee. They could make some improvements with decor instead of old, torn chairs and couch.

A pleasant spot with tasty coffee, but the real star for me was the breakfast sandwich with salami -- unusual and delicious.

Horrible experience. Literally took 30mins to get an “extra hot” drink that was barely warm. $5 wasted! 2 people working on a Saturday morning @ 10am. SMH! Don’t go there.

Awsome cappuccino and conversation. The foam was very fine and creamy. The espresso had a nice acidity with no bitterness.

In addition to being an expert in-house roaster, the cafe cuisine is troublingly good. As in I miss it and I now resent not living closer. This place is worth the extra couple miles if you’re anywhere in the great state of Virginia.

Consistently great pour overs. The nitro cold brew and espresso range from fine to amazing depending on the day. Very nice staff and easily the best coffee roaster in Roanoke. I've never considered going anywhere else for coffee after discovering this place.

Quite little coffee shop that makes a good dark roast and a few food options. Note this is not a breakfast spot by any means. You must like coffee to enjoy your visit

So cute!! Coffee and bagel were really yummy. I got an iced latte ( caramel ) The update is they currently don’t have the “ coffee jelly “ which I was super stoked to try so that was a bummer but other wise the staff was really friendly and the vibe was really chill. I would come back :) street parking was easy to find, at least on a Monday morning

Great coffee, never disappoints. We always get their beans, love the Neighborly blend and Red Sweater is my favorite during the holiday season. My brother makes sure to stop by and grab some beans as well when he comes to visit us in Roanoke.

Visiting from Charlotte, NC and fell in love with the banana bread! So fresh! Plus friendly, down-home service!

This was my first visit here and I was very well pleased and satisfied The atmosphere was very relaxing and refreshing. The dining area was clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They interacted with my wife and I made our visit pleasant. I ordered an herbal iced tea and my wife purchased a hot coffee. Both the tea and coffee was prepared fresh and EXCEEDED our expectations. I glanced and the menu and pastries are offered as well. I would highly recommend this coffee shop as a great place to relax and unwind. Thank you!

Great coffee great food and always friendly service. This morning the shop was very busy (Friday) bit with only two staff.... other days we have noticed two staff as well with another showing up sometimes at 8.30 or 9am. Definitely needed a third person to help out the very strained staff today. We waited 20 minutes for two dark roast coffees and no food. It's only because of the positives I mentioned before that I didn't give a one star review. Many people this morning wets frustrated but extremely patient and polite. If that happened in Australia where we are from the staff would have been abused (Australians have become rude and impatient people). Owner please fix this or you will lose staff and or customers.

RND is in a great location and offers a novel assortment of flavors. I always enjoy coming in and trying something I never have before. The food they offer is good as well.
