This cafe is always a welcome site riding out in the countryside. Great sandwiches. Wonderful people.
Great Experience!! Work around the Goochland area came in for lunch break and I got the tomato bisque soup and the orange pecan chicken salad. Food presentation was pleasant to my eyes and the taste of their soup and salad was amazing. Customer service was great very attentive and nice. Definitely coming back when around try it out definitely recommend (:

AmaZing place!!! Kind and friendly staff, great vibe and ambiance. Food is out of this world. We've been traveling for 4 days now and this is by far the best place we've eaten at. 5+ stars alllll day!! Highly recommend!! 💫🖤
We went for the first time today, and the food was amazing and so was the service. We will definitely be returning again for another meal!

Nice little place to grab a sandwich after hiking at Powhatan state park!
It was an odd experience. I always let a server, shopkeeper, proprietary know if it's my first visit to their establishment. I believe a wise person will take the time and make the effort to ensure a good first impression. The young lady taking orders seemed indifferent to me at best. I had hoped to have some breakfast food, but had just missed the 11am cutoff. No accommodation was offered, ok, fine, but how about a little sympathy such as a kind remark. Anyway, I regrouped and ordered an Italian Sandwich as a combo with fries. $16.95 was the tab. I wasn't asked but stated "to eat here" however my food was served to go. No biggie. The sandwich tasted good, the fries were a bit lacking. No inquiry ever came asking how things were. Interestingly, the same person that took my order delivered it and seemed in much better spirits. Despite that, she never followed up with me. Long story short, I finished, left somewhat unsatisfied. I have no desire to return.

Great place to stop for a quick lunch! The owner with the blonde hair goes out of her way to make you feel important. She seems to have reliable help.
We chanced upon this delightful cafe on the way to wedding in Powhatan. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. What more can you ask for! Wish we lived closer.
An out of the way gem. We were on a back road and hungry. A quick search gave us Cafe at Maidens. We had egg salad and Reuben sandwiches. Both were good. The place has a large selection of sandwiches. Worth the stop.
Absolutely fantastic Had the Powhatan club and the Chicken Bacon Ranch (no onion) It was delicious Chocolate chip cookie was pretty good The caramel cheesecake i highly recommend trying 🤤 All round great place to eat and the lady behind the counter was really nice as well 😊 Im definitely coming back asap lol
Breakfast was wonderful! I'm unfamiliar with the area and was in a rush, so I called ahead and just told her to surprise me with breakfast for two people. She did not disappoint! Sausage, egg, and cheese croissants. Served with hash browns. We also grabbed some fritters and a cookie. It was all amazing. Thanks so much for all your help this morning!

The best food I've had in a long time! Will be back again!! Edit: Back again, still amazing! Last edit: So, I've tried every sandwich on the hot and cold menus at least once. The food is always delicious and the staff is very friendly. It's definitely worth dropping in anytime you're nearby.
So far, all I've gotten is the BLT and a cookie. The BLT is always amazing and I loved the cookie! I'll have to try other items on the menu soon!
