This was the perfect place to interview a "Starving Artist" for my blog! The food and coffee were delicious! My friend and I stayed long past closing hours talking to the owners. They have a unique story about the Starving Artist Café. I would definitely recommend this place. If you decide to go, ask for the owner's special coffee! 😉

Breakfast was terrible, tasted like everything except my eggs were thrown into the frier, very dry. No effort put into the food. Cost me $20.00, no thanks!

Good food, great service in spite of the waitress being totally overwhelmed with customers and good prices also.

The new owners of Starving Artist Cafe served a combined 29 years of active duty in the Navy. They have chosen to continue serving others through this joint venture. The menu has been elevated and the service overhauled. We have been there when there was a line out the door, when it was slow and for a special event; each time has been fantastic. To top it all off, this incredible couple offers a military discount. Yes, they will take 10% off their gross income as an additional way to honor those who serve. You just have to mention your military affiliation at checkout. Easy peasy, don’t miss out. Or better yet, don’t ask for a discount and honor their service by paying full price. It’s worth it!

Veteran owned and the food is some of the best I have ever had. The atmosphere is very good and very friendly. Thank you for your service and your food. Tell all of your friends this is the best place to eat and enjoy friends.

I had heard of Starving Artist Cafe through a Facebook group. Coincidentally, my cousin decided we would go there for our monthly cousin's get-together. I was looking forward to it. I'm happy to say I was not disappointed, and neither were my cousins. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the food. I had the Staving Artist Special - bacon, potatoes, eggs, roasted potatoes, and toast. Someone else had a Make Your Own Breakfast Bowl. Two people had the One Pancake. We were surprised to see that it was a thin pancake that covered the entire plate. They were a bit disappointed at first because they were expecting a thick, fluffy pancake. I asked if they liked it, and they said it was really good. The star of the show was the croissant French toast. We all looked at my cousin's French toast in a bit of awe. She said it was really good. Additionally, the service was excellent! They made you feel welcomed.

Overpriced for what it was. A latte in a regular coffee mug shouldn’t be over $5.00, it was also lukewarm.

It was decent, the customer service was really good, but the food was just, Ok. Nothing special nothing amazing. I got the starving artist breakfast and French toast, both were honestly just "meh". It does have a nice cafe style though.

Over all really enjoyed the experience, the staff was so warm and inviting, the atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for... AND MORE. All the art looked like something I would happily hang on my wall. The pancake was a little chewy, but looked like it was a special recipe and tasted AMAZING. Will definitely go back, I think I just found my new favorite brunch place.

Food was sparse and I waited about 40 minutes for it.. I ordered a hash that came out as a bed of spinach sprinkled with toppings. It was disappointing 😞
