While briefly passing through Mount Jackson, I had the pleasure of stopping in. The coffee was perfect, the friendliness of the staff and locals was much enjoyed. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to try items on the menu.

Cute little cafe next to the movie theatre with classic b&w movies playing on the TV and vintage displays on the walls. Staff was kind, but with fewer then 10 people inside and ordering primarily sandwiches, they were very backed up. I opted for a scone to dine in since I was pretty hungry and wasnt looking to wait. Options near the kiosk for VA souvenirs and coffee to take home too!

The atmosphere was unfortunate, not at all cozy coffee vibe, not very good lighting, very echoey sound, a lot of clutter, and no couch corner for more cloistered conversation. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches just weren’t good quality for the prices. Overall not as appealing as the Google profile makes it appear to be.

Found this quaint and nostalgic coffee shop and cafe by recommendation. There was an old movie showing on the TV and past movie posters and album covers were on the walls to reminisce, about ages gone by. As a dessert coffee, the caramel latte was balanced and quite delicious. The young lady, behind the counter, recommended several of her favorites, since I was having trouble making up my mind. The turkey BLT, with banana peppers and on rye bread was very tasty and I added a bowl of homemade vegetable soup. The soup was pleasantly not overly salted and the herbs and the many vegetables made it a delicious compliment to the BLT. There were ample sweets for selection. A homemade blueberry lemon scone and a sweet roll were brought home. The bathroom was very clean. When I get the chance again, I will revisit this gem in Mt. Jackson. Gratitude to the owner and staff for a job well done.

Excellent! We were staying in the area and stopped in for coffee on our way out of town. Wish we had been by sooner. Both of our espresso drinks were excellent; the roast they use is very smooth and flavorful. We also got a homemade lemon blueberry scone, which was just as good as the coffee! Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stop in this coffee shop. They offer breakfast and lunch sandwiches but we had a lemon blueberry muffin. The Carmel latte and muffin really added to our visit thru this interesting town of Mt. Jackson. Take time to look at the music and movie memorabilia throughout the shop. Staff was friendly and owner enjoyed sharing about their collection and history of the buildings.

We took a detour off I-81 to get a decent cup of coffee, and not only was the coffee delicious, but so were the sandwiches and pastries. It was so good we ordered more food to go for later. Wonderful service, great adorable cafe. Highly recommend!

I work in a group home for people with intellectual disabilities; I bring different groups of residents to Curtain Call, frequently. Staff is always very friendly and patient with the residents. I appreciate the hospitality of this business. Plus, good coffee. :)

I came here last weekend. I was a barista for 10+ years so I am always excited to try a local coffee shop and give a fair try. We got a latte and iced chai lattes one with a shot of espresso added. The older male barista , which I believe was the owner possibly.. made the chais by brewing a whole entire cup of hot tea. He then added ice and a touch of milk and literally no sugar at all like not even a drop and it was suuuuper watered down and came to us luke warm instead of iced(typically chai lattes are sweetened. Either made form a base or if you make it from scratch you make a very potent tea with little water and add honey or something and then milk) . It tasted like cloudy watered down chai that barely had any flavor. I politely told the staff and asked for just regular sweet iced teas instead since our chais weren’t drinkable and I kid you not.. they really were not drinkable. I would rather drink water than whatever that was. They gave me plain black tea and said they didn’t have any sweet and that I could add granulated sugar to it if I wanted to. How has no one complained about that.. this is the land of sweet tea lol. My mom got a latte .. it was ok.. more sweet than anything so if you just like sugar taking over the coffee you might enjoy. Her breakfast sandwich was nothing special. The American cheese slice didn’t melt at all it looked like it was added as an afterthought. THE KICKER: When I got up to leave the other staff that was cashier asked me to pay for the unsweetened black teas. I told her no. I had politely taken a black tea that wasn’t even sweet like we asked instead of my chai lattes that totaled $10 or $11. I should have just asked for a refund and payed for the black teas, as I would be the one making money back. I was trying to make things easier on them and they had the nerve to ask for more money after completely butchering my drink and they could see the drinks were not consumed at all. That’s why I decided to leave a review as well. Th

Stopped in for a couple of ice lattes and pastries. Both were absolutely delicious! The only other coffee shops nearby were Starbucks that we could find and were so, so happy we didn’t need to stop there because this is 1000% better. The espresso is absolutely delicious and the pastries were freshly baked. The decor inside is super charming and the owners are very friendly. This is a must stop if you are in the area. Made such a difference in the way our morning started on our road trip back home. Very happy!
