Love this place especially now that it has been expanded. Great atmosphere and local vibe. Great drinks and I personally love the sweet waffle they offer in the bakery case!
The Local Cup is a wonderful hidden gem! I stumbled upon it while in the area for an appointment, and it's a new favorite for sure! Friendly people, great atmosphere and delicious coffee.
Wow, I love this place! I’m visiting from Oregon and this is like a PNW transplant. Makes sense, because the owner is from Oregon. Loved the honey latte and the waffle from the baked goods section. It’s also poppin inside, so you know, popular for a reason.
Love this place. The space is great to hang out and drink your coffee. Everyone is so pleasant and helpful. The coffee is fantastic. I'm hoping that there will be a second location at some point, maybe closer to Virginia Center Commons! But definitely don't mind making the longer trip trip to work occasionally to stop in, totally worth it.

I was traveling in Richmond and found this place. I am fairly particular about my coffee. The coffee was fantastic. Also every staff member that I interacted with was happy to be at work and courteous. Finally, the person who helped me persuaded me to have their homemade sugar-free vanilla syrup. It was better than any vanilla syrup I have ever had. If I’m back in Richmond, I will visit again.

Newly expanded for twice the amazingness! This place is truly the hub of the community. A great spot to work, meet a friend, conduct an interview, or just grab a coffee to go! Their pastries are delicious and always served with a smile.
Perfect place with good price!
Visited this locally owned coffee shop yesterday for the first time. It was busy which was a good sign I was in a good spot. I ordered a latte, blueberry muffin, and m&m cookie. The espresso was smooth and delicious, and the baked goods I’m still dreaming about. Can’t wait to come visit again.
This coffee place is more like a coffee home. The staff and service are beyond comprehension. Very lively and soothing atmosphere. Many regulars came through and even though it was my first time, I was treated as well as all the regulars. Food and drink are exceptional. This place is a great place to try and make a new favorite over starbucks or other large chain shops.
Best coffee place around. All of the staff are super friendly, the coffee is excellent, and the food is yummy. It’s my go-to place to meet with friends, colleagues, and/or prospective clients. It’s the local/neighborhood coffee shop you’ve been looking for.
Great coffee, great pastries and cookies, and the family who run it seem like really good people. Glad to have them here in Hanover.
Espresso here is SMOOTH. The small size option is perfect for a midday iced latte.
