Easily the best latte I’ve ever had!! And such a cute shop!
Adorable coffee shop. The breakfast sandwiches were exceptional. Fresh bagels, lots of options, refreshing, crisp apple slices on the side. And she made me fresh brewed ice tea while we waited! What a fantastic treat!! And decor to keep me engaged and happy while we ate!!
The lattes are perfect! Will definitely be stopping by every time I pass through. Ordering to go through the website is very convenient!

Really grateful to have such a wonderful coffee shop in Marshall! The drinks are phenomenal - the best lavender lattes and turmeric lattes I've had! We love all the gluten-free options especially the breakfast sandwiches. The muffins are lick-the-wrapper good. The atmosphere is always positive and friendly and the front porch is such a lovely place to sit and enjoy the small town views. Highly recommend.
Half Past Moon is such a great spot for coffee and snacks. Ana is absolutely the best and very accommodating! I can always count on great coffee, service, and bites. They recently added salads to their menu which was a nice surprise. They were made fresh to order and tasted great. Highly recommend!
Great spot in town with a great porch to enjoy your coffee. Plus, it is currently the only spot in Marshall that has espresso!
The coffee was delicious and the service was great, also it’s a cute little shop! My 3 stars are for the food and honestly I would have gave 1 star for that, but I didn’t want to bash the entire experience. I ordered 2 latte’s and 2 breakfast sandwiches, my total was $39.00 so I expected really good sandwiches, but instead they came out with microwaved eggs and bacon and a craft American cheese single. Definitely wouldn’t order the sandwich’s again, I would come back for the coffee and service. 5 stars for coffee and service 1 for food. Edit since I can’t reply to the owners reply. While I understand what you are saying, if that is the case you really shouldn’t be selling food outside of the baked goods like muffins. We are going to have to agree to disagree on the inflation comment, I have zero issue paying good money for good things, we spent the whole weekend in the area and ate out the entire time and while it was expensive it was also extremely enjoyable. I do not know how you can justify $39 for two cups of coffee and to microwave style breakfasts sandwiches. I go out of my way to support small businesses and I almost never go to a chain restaurant and I even understand these places can cost more. But what you’re doing isn’t ok. Your coffee is delicious and you are very sweet, but you should just stop serving the hot sandwich’s unless you’re going to be upfront about the quality Vs the price.

This is a cute little coffee shop in a small town. They have a good selection of coffee flavors Andy wife and I both enjoyed ours. Service was friendly and speedy and prices were reasonable.

I would give this 20/10 if I could! The owner is just as sweet as I like my coffee… speaking of coffee ITS DELICIOUS. The espresso ratio is PERFECT!! Ana does such a great job in making sure the atmosphere is homey and welcoming. It may not be as “quick” as Starbucks, but it will always be better and crafted with love. Best Quiche in town. This little coffee shop has so much character and staff is super friendly. I loved checking out all the unique decor (mugs, shelves, books, pictures etc...). On a recent visit to Marshall, we found it difficult to find breakfast food that was not from a diner. We soon found this little hideout, and went back three mornings in a row. The third day they were out of the wonderful quiche, so we had a breakfast sandwich, which was also very good. The Earl Gray lavender tea with honey is delish and the coffee was tasty. On the last day, I went back and got a fresh donut and coffee for the road.....they toasted my donut! Melt in my mouth goodness. Hope to come back and visit this place again soon.
Best Coffee Cafe in Fauquier County. Homegrown owners for a local Homegrown type of atmosphere. Nutrisus food and smell good coffee. Nice place to come sit,relax, and enjoy some good tasting fresh 🔥 hot ☕ coffee.
Popped in on Sunday afternoon. Syrups are home made. Coffee was delicious. I don't usually have flavored coffee, but it was worth it.
My wife and I were roadtripping and stopped by Half Past Moon Coffee Buzz for our morning coffee stop. We both got doubleshot iced lattes with small amounts of mocha and orange and it was a perfect balance. Coffee flavor was forward with a perfect slight taste of the flavors. Great stop.
Just stopped by to get a cappuccino. Good coffee shop. Was just passing thru but would stop here again. Nice owner.
