My absolute favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood.. they have the best sandwiches. I’ve had their Veggie and Gouda sandwiches multiple times and the quality/ taste is ever so consistent. Lovely staff, cozy ambience and great food/drinks. Highly recommend this place to everyone
Deserts are ok not mind blowing good
Dunbri’s Dessert cafe is a nice place for a quick bite. The staff is friendly and attentive. I ordered the chocolate cake which was not too sweet and very moist. It’s a good cake but not the best cake. Also I got a chocolate milkshake which was good but had bits of vanilla ice cream within. Still the ambiance is nice and it’s worth a look if you are near the area.
Latino chic gave me a broke off piece lemon square. 🍋 dumb wench. Will never return.
Rediscovered this lovely gem again today. Not just desserts, but really good sandwiches. Made to order, quick and fresh. Teas and treats from across the Pond. Near Walmart of Haymarket. A must stop in.
Nice place, the cakes are delicious!
Great place to get sweets frozen yogurt, deserts are amazing and interesting, as flavors are unique and delicious! They have French press coffee and the space to share with your family is very cozy and relaxing. I love friendly, family oriented business and relax atmospheres were you can spend sometime talking with friends! We will be back for more :)
Cute little shop! Lots of bakery goodies to choose from, we got the cake pops which were delicious, nice and moist as well. This place is also a great lunch spot with their many grilled cheese options with tomato soup add-on. The lunch is packaged nicely in a little box. Would love to try all the different sandwiches, they all sound delicious!
This is a favorite place of mine for the last 4 1/2 years. It started with a Pure Berry and my sticking point is the picklelicious! Also, they carry treats from Great Britian that remind me of my childhood. Pair your sandwich with the tomato soup and you're set!
Love love love this little gem. They were stocked with all my favorite South African chocolates and goodies and their sandwiches were divine.
Quaint and cozy space, with board games against one wall. At our last visit, my friend ordered the one of the many specialty grilled cheese sandwiches, and loved it! I had a lovely buttie and latte. The downside is the dessert I grabbed today. The tiramisu tasted very off, almost like plastic. Either it had gone bad from sitting all day, or it just tasted odd. My second slice went in the trash.
Come for the grilled cheese—stay for dessert. This friendly cafe never fails to disappoint.
The best grilled cheese I have ever had. Charming place with good service and food. Highly recommend if you are shopping around.
Wow! What a great Sandwich. This little hole in the wall shop that's advertising as a Ice Cream shop has the best Grill Cheese sandwiches...I had the Bacon BBQ...grilled cheese with chicken and bacon 🥓 and BBQ sauce. Very quaint shop that also sells a selection of British candy and food items...why, don't ask me. This is a gem.
Love their coffees. Comes in a two cup press with just about any whitener on the side. Great pastries. Also has it's share of youngsters enjoying decadent treat/deserts. Gives the place a bit of spark that makes it fun.
Great little cafe!
Stopped in randomly woth a soccer team of young girls and parents, Twas empty upon arrival but the staff were very accommodating and friendly to all the kids. They’d some great treats from across the pond so we picked up a few essentials until Christmas
I love this place! Not only does it have delicious ice cream and coffee but it has British food like a Bacon Butty! Something I haven't had in years!
My friend only said 3 things about this place before I came here: -American Original Grilled Cheese -Tomato Soup -Irn Bru And now I'm telling you...
This place has phenomenal sandwiches at good prices in addition to frozen yogurt and soft serve - which you need to try in the “pure Barry” surrounded by a cloud of cotton candy and topped off with your choice of candies. They also have a desert case filled with treats and sell a variety of British staples from Heinz tinned beans to microwave sticky toffee puddings, HP sauce to Branston pickle. There’s a wide selection of Cadbury chocolates and other sweets also. Staff are very friendly and service is efficient. There are tables inside and out to enjoy your lunch or treat (I suggest sitting outside for the pure Barry which makes a huge mess with every delectable bite.)
