Inclusive, great art from local artist. Vegan and non-vegan. Pricey but you pay for the atmosphere which is unique among the community.
First time here. Been looking for a coffee shop with good vibes and great coffee. I found it!
My favorite coffee place in all of Fredericksburg! Only gave 4 starts tho because I never receive friendly service 99% of the time.
I moved to Fredericksburg from New York April of 2022.. as I got off the train my first day in town I passed by katora and walked in for a coffee.. little did I know this would become my new home. Wednesday night open mic is amazing, Ethan and Christian make sure that it is a welcoming safe space for everyone:-) love you guys!
Best Service!! Welcoming. Loved the tea and the muffins. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Interesting to look at. Definitely worth the visit.
Wow what an awesome coffee shop! Cool atmosphere, friendly staff, and best of all Fantastic coffee. Can’t wait to go back!
Excellent hot chocolate and very friendly staff. Note that they only use plant-based milks. Staff recommended the oat milk and it didn’t disappoint.
Christian and April are great. One hell of a coffee shop. Basically this place is a positive-vibes mecca in downtown Fred where like-minded badasses can come together to create magic. Oh- and their coffee is incredible too :)
The yuzu lemonade with coconut milk is a must try. Delicious and refreshing!
Katora Coffee is 💡 and a local hub for artists musicians and creatives. Every Wednesday they have open mic. Feels like a family and community.
Very chill atmosphere, friendly staff, awesome food options, and tasty beverage choices. Their milk options are pretty cool, all non-dairy which is right up my alley.
Stopped into this place for a basic cup of coffee, but walked out with two spectacular specialty drinks and a egg, vegan cheese, and vegan sausage bagel sandwich. I have a sensitivity to dairy so it was a wonderful surprise to have stumbled upon a cute coffee shop with so many dairy free and vegan options. On top of that, Christian was super kind and made us feel right at home. He asked us our names, prepared our drinks thoughtfully (freshly brewed chai in a chai latte?!), and represented Fredericksburg well. We will definitely stop by again if we end up in Fredericksburg again!
the vibes are immaculate and they have a really good blood orange tea and danish :]
Amazing atmosphere and great item selection, staff was very friendly and helpful
I love Katora Coffee because the owners and all of the people who work there are the kindest and most considerate people. They make great teas and have all sorts of options for non dairy milk users.
A friend took me to get coffee/tea over the summer. A MUST stop if you are in the Fredericksburg area. LGBTQ+ friendly, vegan & vegetarian options, live events, and friendly staff! Will be back the next time I drive down from Baltimore to see my friend or go to Kings Dominion!
Really love the atmosphere people and, just, all of it. Was my second visit and I got the turmeric latte which is SO good and the tater tots (which I could NOT stop eating). If I lived closer, I'd probably come here every day. Just a really comfortable place to hang out.
Fun. Funky. So many alternatives, artisan coffee combination. You'll definitely find something. And hot cocoa and teas A little overwhelmed, but very happy with choices. Tight space. Better off reading the menu before you go in.
Great coffee! The white mocha was the best one I’ve found in a while. The baked treats were delectable to admire and enjoy, while the seating arrangement is cozy and quaint. I want to return for an outdoor seating with some coffee, an almost pastry, and a great book.
Loved everything about this spot!! From the loose teas used to make chai, to the super friendly service & the delicious vegetarian menu! I had a vegan everything bagel with egg& chao and tater tots with old bay seasoning. And a raja oat milk chai with vanilla spice🤤 all I can say is YUM!!
