In town for the weekend and needed to stop for lunch. Got to talk to Chef Jason who recommended the ultimate cheesesteak and sweet potato fries. Spot on suggestion, great food and good prices!
Nice place. The steak and cheese was very good. Quiet and comfortable place to sit and eat.
Great little Cafe. Food is excellent (healthy choices if you so choose) and great coffee. Very friendly service.
Always a great stop. Good food, Low key atmosphere, friendly staff.
Lovely local cafe. We stopped by for coffee and brunch on our way back from Shenandoah. Coffee was great and so were chicken sandwiches. A Must visit to enjoy country side vi e and food if you are near Shenandoah park.
Such a nice cute little restroom. Food is amazing!
My wife and I regularly take a lunch at Skyward. The food, ambiance, and mellow vibe are fantastic. We have never had a bad meal, and the creativity in the specials, especially the soups, are wonderful. Could not recommend it more for a warm, feel good, casual meal.
Great atmosphere and the food was amazing. If they have the Beef and Barley Soup get a big bowl and some toast you won't regret it.
Stopped by for a cappuccino and a grilled cheese. Amazing. Very friendly people. Quick service and absolutely adorable decoration. No tv or computer. Games, books, very family tradition. A must for all ages…
Eclectic little cafe that is easy to miss if you're not careful. Very friendly staff and delicious food made for a wonderful lunch for my wife's birthday.
10/10 cafe in the DC area, ?globally. This is a long standing local's establishment under Skyward Cafe ownership. - Dr. Kohler
The food was delicious, the service was just ok. There were 4 of us, Laura, got her food, Emmert got his 5 minutes later. Than the couple who came in 15 minutes after us got their food. Then mine and Jeff's arrived. Just weird and had to ask for a glass of water twice before getting it. I will try again because the food was so good.
Food was incredibly greasy couldn’t even consume. The main guy (maybe cook?) working was rude to the teenage girls working there. Asked for to-go and they made it for there. Order was wrong and when we asked about the bacon they said we weren’t charged for it. Instead of, like most restaurants, saying “our bad we’ll get you some bacon” the guy kinda went back and forth and then reluctantly asked if we wanted bacon. We said no because at this point it couldn’t be salvaged. Maybe a bad day? Idk but personally I won’t be spending $10/pp on a bagel, egg and cheese again. 2 stars because toasting on bagel was good, coffee was good and atmosphere is cute.
Great value food. The breakfast potatoes are amazing. Cozy place.
Happened to be passing through the area needing coffee and breakfast. Got the breakfast wrap which was served hot and had great flavor. The coffee was fresh and good as well. The place had a nice atmosphere and I plan to stop there again the next time my travels bring me that way.
Lovely local Cafe for wonderful coffee! Also serves delicious breakfast or lunch and includes healthy and vegetarian options. A must visit for anyone coming in town! 5 stars from me and my wife!
I wish I took photos of my food. The food was really good and savory. The worker was also friendly and overall made the experience very warming
Food was good ,not great (except the breakfast sandwichon biscuits! Prices were high, but could be due to inflation. Cute interior and friendly people.
Very welcoming place, great service, tasty food. I loved how this place was set up and decorated, the food servings are generous and it's all delicious, but don't skip the breakfast potatoes.
Great breakfast place. Welcoming and quaint. Got the 222 which includes 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 2 sausage (or bacon). The sausage wasnt too fatty or greasy, eggs were done exactly as ordered, the pancakes were sweet and delicious. We also got the English muffin with an egg done over easy (also done to perfection) and sausage. Coffee was self serve and cups were big.
