This cafe may be little but it has big personality! It’s the perfect mix of intimate and warm energy combined with professionalism, a good menu and staff. We loved the greenery and look of the place too!

It's a small house that was retrofitted to a restaurant. It's got a quaint cute vibe and outside better than the inside on a good day. Not like fancy but it's good really good brunch. Love the scones and egg sandwich. Coffee drinks also good. We come back often and will continue to do so

Not the way we would have chosen to spend our 25th wedding anniversary brunch. You may ask, "why a 2 when everyone else rates it higher." Well, had it been need solely upon the food it likely would have been a four or five but the experience drops it down. It isn't that the online menu doesn't reflect the menu we were given, such is life, I suppose, full of disappointment. It has more to do with being drenched by a pitcher of creamer (bring delivered to another table) and winding up wearing it all over my face and clothes, especially my jacket. Granted mistakes happen but except for the person who covered me in creamer no one else seemed to care, not even other staff. I remained silent while being the butt of other customers joking jibes and used a towel supplied to try to clean myself off. "It happens" I told my self and the person who had the accident. What disappointed me was when the bill came it was for the full amount. No apology or consideration. My wife actually approached our server and brought the topic up and the server seemed surprised she would bring it up. Ultimately we were given a 10% discount, $4.37. not even enough to cover the dry cleaning bill. So if you go there enjoy the food but dress like you are going to a Gallagher watermelon smash. Just to be on the safe side.

Unable to seat us because we didn't have a reservation. Was not packed, just one server on staff.

I really enjoy staying here; it’s a lovely location and all of the staff are so kind and helpful. There are no fridges in the rooms (which actually might be nice to not have that appliance noise, it’s all super quiet and peaceful) but the staff will keep your items in a fridge for you to pick up. I’ve been here a few times and will definitely come back!

The Oakhurst Inn Café & Espresso Bar is quaint! Customer service is good; an employee is kind and helps me understand a Vegan option (not too many Vegan and/or gluten free options). The Vegan South Range Burger is good; every bite is flavorful, juicy, and the burger stays together. The sauce on the salad tastes good with both the burger and salad (which tastes really good). The establishment has outdoor and indoor seating areas. The establishment takes different forms of payment.

The mocha was really solid, and the people were nice, but it looses a star for the price, as it takes the cake for me for most I've spent $ per fl oz for coffee.

Some of the worst service I've had at a restaurant in awhile. They had only four tables when we sat down but still took over 10 minutes to get us coffee (which was never refilled despite us asking for more). The waitress never once checked on us after dropping off the food. The food was okay, but nothing special. I was particularly disappointed that the farm house sandwich was served on a plain old white hamburger bun

Amazing brunch and some of the best coffee in Charlottesville. I had the duck hash special and it was fantastic, eggs were perfectly cooked! Probably best to make a reservation if you're going during weekend brunch.

Secret sort of place tucked away and looking like a house . Great coffee and friendly staff. Outside seating during good weather. Several 'cozy' tables scattered around the house. Really good vibe. Highly recommend.

While we were quite disappointed that the waffles were not available, we had a delightful waitress, and enjoyed our brunch of quiche and farm table sandwich. Accompanied by a mimosa and Bloody Mary and an apple cinnamon scone. Eating on their covered patio was delightful. Service was quick and friendly.

Not at all what I expected, no silverware, water with no ice, no waffles and ordered hamburger medium well and can out medium. Will no go here again.

This is a really cozy environment to either grab a bite to eat or meet up with people to chat over coffee. The food is really delicious, and it is generally worth the higher costs. While you can expect to pay more here than an average diner, it really delivers in terms of quality of food and attention to detail with the experience of eating. The service is always friendly, not in a rush to move you along, so you can linger a while. The only drawback is that the space is limited, so on busy days/times, it can be hard to get it. Also, I've heard it can be a little tricky to spot from the road. So, look for this little gem tucked back off the street a bit, and I think you will be pleased.

I made a reservation two weeks ago for my birthday brunch and travelled into town to specifically go here. Upon our arrival, the hostess stated they called me that morning to let me know my reservation was cancelled because they decided to close early. The employee who told my friends and I that they were closing was completely rude and unempathetic that we now had to figure out a different place to eat. We had to call several other places to try to be fit in and everywhere was booked already. It was completely unprofessional to operate a business this way and I would never go back. They offered no compensation or suggestion of where to go in Charlottesville after our plans were ruined.
