Best coffee shop in town! Make sure to try the honey vanilla latte.
One of the best coffee shops in Charlottesville, and this location is the better one in my opinion, especially if you are looking to study or just relax. It has plenty of natural lighting and the seats are very comfortable. I normally get an Americano, but their mochas are pretty good, as are their chocolate chip cookies (the cookie is a little hard but the taste is really good). If you want a cup of water, the cups are tiny, which is a detraction but that's okay. I get the coffee beans from here to make my morning coffee, too, and they're independently good and single origin. Overall just a good experience.
A quiet coffee shop in the cut, Mudhouse 10th st. offers excellent service and delicious coffee beverages. I also enjoy perusing their selection of coffee wizardry retail items. A special electric water kettle specifically for pour-overs? Yes, please! Bring a book or your tablet/laptop, and spend an hour. Leave your earbuds out and enjoy their playlist.
Excellent coffee and croissant-quiche with spinach and feta. Nice server. Faux industrial decor. Limited parking. A bit pricey.
Only down side, I almost walked past this place. Front door is hidden toward the back of its parking lot. And its business neighbor gives off closed vibes. Did a quick stop by for a latte. Tried the Honey Vanilla very smooth, filled to the top, has a wonderful aroma.
Nice patio upstairs for when the weather is nice.
A chill modern coffee house with good coffee and quiet atmosphere. The coffee is tasty and a reasonable price. The interior is hip and cozy, and can get crowded, but is a nice spot to study and have a coffee. Outdoor seating is also available, with a patio upstairs.
It's ok. Pretty middle of the road coffee especially considering there's ar least 10 coffee shops in a 10 block radius. The pastries are usually good.
The quality of the coffee is excellent. If you like cheap coffee that taste like dirt, bless your heart, this is not the place for you.
Fun atmosphere with a variety of seating. Got a maple cappuccino and really enjoyed it!!

Great coffee, a bit expensive. Nice spot to concentrate and get work done. Weirdly uncomfortable chairs for the most part. Pastry looks okay but I haven’t tried it yet.
I’ve been here twice during my visits to Charlottesville. Each time the coffee is amazing and the vibe is great. They even started making their own syrups that don’t have any corn syrup, which gives me migraines. Thank you for being a great contribution to the coffee climate. You’re appreciated. Megan
Cool coffeeshop. Parking lot is small and not so easy to get in and out of if you're driving there. They have a pourover machine - I've never seen that before! Good seating and the place feels airy, owing to the loft. Prices seem a bit high for coffee in cville...

Go anywhere else for coffee, even Starbucks. Way overpriced and either tasteless coffee or burned espress . Shenandoah Joe's is half the price and 10x quality with friendly staff.
Great specialty latte and super beautiful, gallery-esque space. Limited parking and expensive coffee menu.
