The cheese bread we selected at the recommendation of the team member was the last on the shelf -- it has been gooey and cheesy and remained incredible even after a week of pacing to enjoy it as long as possible. ((the bogo end-of-day muffins we selected were... a bit dry, though. The incredible cheese bread is the stuff of dreams))

Fist visit to this shopping area and store. I purchased an oatmeal raisin cookie that was delicious but pricey.

Wonderful bakery on the main street of Charlottesville. Just a short walk from downtown. They have a great selection of cookies, savory and sweet croissants and sweet treats.

A spot worth trying out and making it a favorite. My wife and I shred the chicken salad sandwich and muffin on Dakota bread. Delicious and fresh. The raspberry muffin was a treat for the drive home. They serve Shenandoah Joe drip coffee but I went across the way for a cappuccino. The owner is delightful.

Hidden gem?? When I went in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, barely anyone else here! But they have a great selection of local goods, bakery items, and sandwiches. 10/10 recommend!

Love this place. Something for everyone both in their products as well as the products sold from others. Support this small business.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! I had an amazing pumpkin muffin that was exactly as a muffin should be, perfectly moist and flavorful. Looking forward to trying more things and can only recommend!

Went to this place prior to Thanksgiving to pick up some specialty items and specifically rolls. Went in there and they had a huge selection the lady that owned the place was working behind the counter she was super nice. She explained that they take care of the weed in the back room and they pretty much manage everything. I would make this a regular stop on your grocery rounds.

I have been in many times, maybe in total spent around 200 dollars here. The woman with the short hair is shockingly rude, and inattentive every single time I am in there.

I found this to be completely overpriced. I got a half pimento cheese sandwich and the pimento cheese was extremely low quality, and the bread was cut so the top piece was about half the size of the bottom piece. Just ... go somewhere else.

We stopped by over the weekend to check out Great Harvest's selection of local honeys. I had seen recently on NextDoor that they carry a few. If I remember correctly, they had wildflower, clover, thistle, and maybe another one or two. The price was comparable to other local honey. My husband ordered a morning glory muffin, which he thought was delicious. In the past at Great Harvest in Herndon and Vienna (Northern VA) we get a loaf of the apple scrapple, but it looks like they don't have it at this location, which is a little bit of a bummer. But the service was great, and I guess that just means we should try other ones!

We moved from Colorado where we first experienced Great Harvest Bread Cafe. We are so excited to live in an area that has another one! We stopped in and ordered the pimento cheese sandwich and the ham & cheese. The sandwiches were great! My only complaint is the price. With chips, both sandwiches together were $30. Just a little expensive for a quick drop-in lunch. Otherwise, everything was just as good as we remembered.

Outstanding baked goods, sandwiches and people. They go out of their way to accommodate special requests. Their bread and baked goods are the very best! They are not to be missed! Fabulous! Grateful!

This place is Heaven on Earth! From the second you walk in the door you are greeted with the delicious aroma of fresh baked bread and goodies. We are so thrilled to have found this treasure. We got a decent sampling of their menu and honestly can't choose our favorite. The scuffins are moist and rich w/a perfect crisp of sugar glaze on top. The brownies were decadent and the bread was so hearty and flavorful unlike bland store loaves. The owner is so kind and knowledgeable about her passion of baking. We be back soon for more treats, thank you for baking with love!

More of a bakery and country store that makes bread, rather small inside compared to what it looks like outside a bit pricey, not the bread place we were looking for
