Love this little place, feels a little like going back in time. They have a handful of options to choose from. Not a ton of seating, they have several booths to sit in.
OMG. This ice cream is incredible!
The ice cream here is delicious. There are many flavors to choose from. They offer waffle cones, bowls, and regular cones as well.
Incredible non-dairy chocolate ice cream.
I visited this ice cream place last week and ordered a vanilla milkshake. To my surprise, the milkshake tasted more like a cantaloupe melon than vanilla and it was pricey too--20$ for 2 regular size. While I was a bit disappointed, I don't blame the employee who made it, as the place seems super understaffed and they were doing their best to serve everyone quickly. If you come here, just be aware that the service might be a bit slow or chaotic, but the quality of the ice cream is worth it. And who knows, maybe you'll discover a new flavor combination, like my accidental cantaloupe-vanilla shake.
We dropped by to visit Virginia Discovery Museum and saw the ice cream shop. It’s just a gem. The kids were delighted to ice cream and we ordered cappuccino and espresso. Nice retro vibe with plenty of sittings and clean place to enjoy the ice cream. They have kids size to triple scoops of ice cream and ample of varieties to try.
Great homemade ice cream. Customer service was quick and friendly. The store itself could use some updating, but worth a stop on a hot day if you are in the area.
This was some of the best ice cream I have ever had in my life! The Sherbet was incredible, fruity and delectable. The raspberry coffee was a perfect blend of those two flavors. The cookie dough was the best cookie dough I've ever had, very bold and flavorful! We had a wonderful time there, and I certainly would recommend it to anyone in the area! 10/10!
The food was great I loved the customer service I recommend this place I love how the place look and the beautiful pictures
This review is only for their hot cocoa... their ice cream selection looks great and has been awarded. But I visited on a cold night and I preferred a hot beverage and the hot cocoa was not nice at all.
Such a gem of an ice cream shop. If you’ve never been here I implore you to check it out. The ice cream is simply delightful. I had the vanilla fudge and while I usually don’t like hard ice cream, it was still somewhat soft. It was kept as the perfect temperature for serving. The service is incredible here. The atmosphere transports you back to a simpler time. Highly recommend you give this place a try!
Great ice cream downtown. Interesting interior but tables are wobbly.
Such a cute and retro place. Love the vibes and the ice cream was delicious!
Enjoy the best ice cream while watching episodes of Gunsmoke on the TV Land Channel.
Good ice cream, bad attitude. Do not trust the hours of operation. They close early and turn paying customers away. Money isn’t green 20 minutes before closing time.
Kinda run down, dairy free option was meh, fudge was the only available topping, chocolate Oreo had literally no Oreos, and the black raspberry tastes like purple food coloring.
Cute, old fashioned ice cream place that has a few oat milk ice cream flavors! As a lactose intolerant person, I REALLY appreciated being able to eat a non-dairy ice cream on a cone (because sorbet on a cone is weird) and it was also delicious. They also get bonus points for having 3 different kinds of cones- sugar cones, waffle cones, and cake cones.
We stopped in while touring around and had great egg, tuna, grilled cheese and roast beef sandwiches! It was reasonably priced and we had great service.
They have a cherry vanilla vegan ice cream that is delicious full of nice pieces of dark cherries the price tho is a bit steep. The original old time decor makes for good ambience even if it does seem a bit run down.
I ordered a small chocolate malt and received a tasteless very thin consistency barely cold cup of milk with no malt and very little ice cream. After 2 sips I tossed it in the trash $8.60 later!
