I love this place for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Simply delicious. The place is always hopping, but things move along quickly. A hidden gem. Coffee is great as well. Wait staff friendly and accommodating. Pay them a visit. You won’t be sorry.

Food is only alright epecifically breakfast but it is irritating they don't have it all day. Sadly coffee is TERRIBLE. Everytime I have gotten it here it is appalling and rancid tasting. And overpriced!

We love the breakfast and coffee at Cape Charles Coffee House! Everything is delicious, but I particularly enjoy the bacon/egg/cheese sandwich.

Cool building, food was average, staff friendly but really bad service. Wrong order, had to ask for things multiple times. Overall I would not recommend unfortunately.

Boyfriend and I came in for coffee- ended up wishing we didn’t! The man at the counter (Marshall) did not seem to want to help us whatsoever. We ordered our drinks, and he proceeded to bang around, slam the fridge door, etc. While the espresso was brewing, I asked if they had oat milk, as I prefer dairy alternatives. He replied to me with an extremely rude tangent where he elevated his voice and continued to talk over me: “Can you just tell me what you want so I can make it for you? Do you want oat milk or do you want to just continue asking questions? Just tell me what you want and I will make it for you!” I calmly replied saying I just needed to know if they had oat milk, because not everyone does. He then replies with “You want oat milk, I’ll give you oat milk,” and takes the container out of the fridge and slams it on the counter. The whole encounter was completely shocking and uncomfortable. I couldn’t recommend this establishment less to anyone who appreciates a minimum level of customer service.

Would never return. Staff were very rude to my sons. Felt very unwelcomed. They cursed about a question my son asked while they were making our drinks. Our drinks coffees were not very good. Sad as it is a pretty location but they obviously didn't want our business.

We had breakfast at the Cape Charles Coffee House. Located in a building over 100 years old. We were able to enjoy fluffy pancakes, crisp bacon, seasoned home fries, stuffed breakfast burrito and endless coffee refills with the freshest fruit I've had in a while. It was very crowded but worth the wait. The hostess sounds like Miley Cyrus when she talks and the servers were very friendly with the biggest smiles signaling to us they were happy to accommodate us. We truly enjoyed our meals I just hate I forgot to take a picture of my food. 😏 Give them a try they won't disappoint.

The eggs tasted like they were cooked in the microwave and had no flavor at all. And my pancakes were cold. Yuck.

My husband and I stopped in for Coffee the one day and our family had a wonderful breakfast the last day of our trip. It was a good old fashioned breakfast , all the staff were pleasant and nice. We appreciate you guys being open and the consistent hours you have. It is not easy for small businesses today. We will definitely return next time we are in Cape Charles.

It's okay it's no cracker barrel or waffle house it's a convenient location for breakfast. The pancakes were pretty good and cheese grits were great. No maple syrup for the cakes. It's a real cramped restaurant they have two floors they should have it utilized. Not much vegetarian options for their breakfast menu.

Great building i wanted to love it, unfortunately it was dirty and the service was bad. The server was slow and did not write our order down (add lettuce and tomato to a grilled cheese, no bun on the burger) and the food was delivered wrong. No big deal but she never checked back until we got our check. We came in because the food in the pictures looks amazing. I guess breakfast must be better than lunch. We were told it was to late for breakfast so we got what was offered. The food was ok but no place near the quality of the food in the pictures.
