Love the environment and the waitresses are all amazing. It’s rare we are in town but whenever we are we have to stop!
As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were quickly greeted and told we could sit wherever we wanted; the staff was working hard to keep up with the constant flow of customers. I got the Breakfast of Champions burger and the Salt & Vinegar Waffle Fries; both of these items were absolutely delicious! 🍔🍟😋🤤 The staff was friendly and helpful; 10/10 Would Recommend!
Driving up I wasn't expecting much, but I was blown away by the food! Big serving and great food!

Fantastic simple and delicious food. Cobb salad was great, only need to order the 1/2 salad, as the size is large. Burgers are great tasting beef! Deserts are all homemade and fabulous.
Top notch service and food. A lot of great choices on the menu, you get your money's worth on each plate and Tiffany took great care of us. If you're going up/down I-81 make sure to stop in for a great meal.
Awesome collard greens, sandwiches, craft beers, and friendly, fast service. I’m grateful that we stumbled onto this restaurant right by Wattsull Inn on our way down I-81 South.

Food was great! Best burger I've had in a long time. Everyone in our group loved their food. Minus a star because the place is in a bit of disrepair; the outside could use a facelift, the sign outside is in pieces, the inside floor was painted concrete and dirty, however the bathroom room was in good shape and clean.
Food is amazing, staff is very polite, great blue moon, 10/10. Peanut butter lasagna was amazing.
My girlfriend and I decided to eat here while visiting a couple days at the natural bridge. Despite the sign on the door stating they were short staffed we saw no issues. We got the “almost cheasapeake waffle fries” for an appetizer which was amazing. Promptly after we got our meals which consisted of the ham and Swiss patty melt for my girlfriend and a 12oz ribeye, baked beans and a house salad with ranch. Wow…the fries were amazing and the sauce they came with tasted just like cheasapeake sauce from Royal farms. My girlfriends sandwhich was phenomenal (I tried a bite myself), my steak was cooked perfect and had a great seasoning, the baked beans were good and the house salad was pretty dang big and tasty. Overall service was quick, the food was really good and there’s a nice view of the mountain.

Incredible food, incredible owners! This place is a Diamond with a view! We are in from Raleigh and had heard about The foot of the mountain, so we gave it a shot. We were thoroughly impressed! Everything from they’re willingness to accommodate our daughter to the taste of the food and the overall value! We definitely give this 5 STARS, it’s obviously that they pour their hearts into their food and service and this is coming from a person surrounded by incredible restaurants in Raleigh! Well done to this team.

Everything was excellent! We had a party of four 2 burgers with sides, Cob salad, open face turkey sandwich and wings. It was all delicious. The build your burger is incredible, with lots of options. We will definitely be back!
Burgers and waffle fries were AMAZING and cooked perfectly!! most definitely will be visiting again to try something different!
The food was tasty and authentic.Should try it atleast once in this restaurant as the atmosphere and view was splendid. We tried buttermilk fried chicken and steak. The price was also decent.
Highly highly recommend Foot of the Mountain restaurant . Ate there last weekend with my family. Wonderful Wonderful DELICIOUS food. We all got something different. All was really good. Great service. I did call and book a reservation the night before because there was 8 of us. Restaurant had our tables set up for us when we arrived at our reservation time. Friendly friendly staff. I can't say enough about Great Great service!!!. And the food!!! Always keep our sweet tea glasses filled. I got the classic hamburger with bacon added with sweet potato fries. The sauce to dip fries in was very good. Restaurant is right beside I-81 there in Arcadia beside a local motel. Their sign had blown away but GPS took us right to it. It's a brick building right down the hill from motel. Busy busy local restaurant. If traveling on 81 or just looking for a new place to eat. Stop and check this one out. Won't be disappointed. Kid friendly decent amount of parking.
So I was visiting friends in the area and we were told that this place had great food. The sign is shattered, and at first glance, I was sure my wife would bypass this place. But I am here to say that I had the best hamburger here that I have had in a long time. All the food smelled and looked delicious. The service was great, you will not be disappointed!! Enjoy.
