Amazing time at Bajo El Sol gallery. Not only found the best coffee in town, but also a cool vibe place with an amazing Rum selection . The friendly owners and staff were wonderful and shared stories about rum origins and making from different places around Central America and Caribbean. We went back the next day for live music and rum tasting. Gallery and jewelry are beautiful too. Don’t miss it!

Great find. My wife wanted to try some rum’s and so we ordered “Ravens Choice” and we got to meet Raven. This was a great experience. She explained details of the origin and processes used to make each of the rum’s. She is very knowledgeable and super fun! The rum is amazing with some 250 +/- different rum’s and a staff that knows every one of them. Wonderful store and rum bar. Do yourself a favor and stop by…enjoy a flight and learn about Caribbean rum. Yum! Chin-chin

Excellent art gallery featuring known local artists. Stop in for beautiful art and do a rum tasting! The rum tasting was fun and informative. They represent amazing local artists and at least one who has work in the Smithsonian.

Friendly staff they really made you feel welcome We did a couple rum tastings and brought home a great sampler pack of botany bays.
On our anniversary trip to St. Thomas, Steve and I took a day trip over to St. John and stumbled across this lovely gem. The gorgeous local art work drew us in, but the rum tasting had us stay a while longer! The owners and staff were great conversationalists and we found that one of the baristas is another Philly/Delaware connection. The rum was incredible and service impeccable. We bought a piece of art to have sent home and were told it would arrive in about 10 days. It arrived the very next day before we even returned home! Definitely recommend stopping in to this lovely shop if you are near Cruz Bay in St John.

Walked into the store because of the art and saw that they had rum tastings. They were closing down but kindly offered to do one last tasting since it was our last night in the area. I normally drink scotches and am not really knowledgeable about runs but the owners were great and finding tastings that fit my pallet. We ended up talking for a bit about the USVI, the Caribbean and about rum! We had a great experience and I highly recommend checking this place out while on your visit!
Absolutely gorgeous shop with a bar tucked in the corner with 150+ rums on offer. We did a rum tasting and the vast knowledge about the different rums and production process was impressive. Excited to find some cultural tourism in St. John! Definitely recommend.

This place in all aspects was outstanding! Very cool local art and paintings mixed with a rum tasting and an espresso bar!! Got a double espresso and it was fantastic, I’m a big espresso drinker and was impressed! Much more impressed with the place, price (ONLY $2.75 for my double espresso) and conversation with the owner about rum and espresso! We don’t drink but highly recommend this place for its espresso, rum, and the great vibes and knowledge of the owner!
Good coffee, vibe, and friendly staffs
We purchased a painting here, was treated to champagne while waiting to get it written up, and the painting arrived (in Michigan) well packed and on time. Would highly recommend, and can’t wait to go back!
