Authentic & perfectly soft & fluffy buns with amazing flavors! Savory & sweet options, both with a variety of choices! We got a chicken curry bun and a roasted pork bun, plus 2 taro bubble teas (my FAVE) & a coffee swiss roll and it was under $20. This is my new FAVORITE place :)

Absolutely amazing bakery! Super friendly staff, reliable every time we go. I can’t wait for them to open back up in March. Their cakes are also amazing, we get one for every birthday. So light and fresh tasting. My go to recommendation for anyone wanting a quick bite in Winnoski.
This is a small family shop run by amazingly kind and talented people! Everything you try here is delicious. They have sweet treats, savory goodies, and the best bubble tea in Vermont. All savy Winooski locals have a Morning Light loyalty stamp card floating around in their wallet. And for a good reason!! Morning Light is highly worth the stop every time.

I’ve been to this place 3 times, and every time I’ve walked in I am greeted with smiles, patience and gratitude. The people are extremely friendly and helpful, especially if you are new. The place smells great and the prices are also extremely reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend a visit.

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this place! Their food and drinks are all delicous, and very reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and fast, and in all the many times I have been here they have never once made a mistake with my order. My only "complaint" is that they sometimes run out of things if you get there too close to closing, but I almost see that as a positive because it's a result of their food always being fresh (and good to know that they arent wasting food!)
These folks went above and beyond for me. They bent over backwards to make sure I got the passionfruit cheesecake I wanted in time for a very special event. The dessert was a hit, and the person of honor (a cheesecake connoisseur) said it was the best he had ever had. Top marks across the board, I will go out of my way to give this bakery my business in the future!!
This is a very good Asian bakery. Better quality than any I've been to in any K-town or Chinatown in any city. The sweet pastries aren't overly sweet, the mochi is amazing and the service is super friendly. Can't say enough good things about this bakery!
Whats not to love? A wide selection of authentic sweet and savory buns available at a very affordable price. I got the pork bun, the pastry was fluffy and light, while the pork was sweet and tender. A perfect combo!

Morning Light is an absolute gem of a bakery to have here in Vermont. They are so friendly, the food is so good, and their drinks are delicious. Regardless of how long it’s been in-between visits they always remember my name and some of my regular ordered items. There are times when they slip extra bakery items in my bag, which is not at all expected or necessary, but shows how generous and kind they are as a business. I’m so grateful they exist here in Vermont! Everything is good here but some of my favorites: pineapple bun, hot dog bun, spicy pork belly bao, classic bubble milk tea (with mango popping bubbles), mango pudding, and any of their speciality cakes!
Went in for buns and boba. Buns were so good we went back for seconds. Highly recommend ham and cheese. Cashier was very kind and joyful. I'm typically hesitant with giving 5 stars and this place easily deserves one.
Excellent service, have almost tried every bun and can recommend them all except the hotdog bun (but I'm not really a fan of hotdogs). Would strongly recommend the Belly Boa and an iced coffee with bubbles. This is exactly the kind of business that makes this town a better place.
The coconut bubble tea was really good. I also had the pork bun. It was delicious! PS. The staff was extremely kind and friendly.
