The hippest place in Hardwick. Fresh baked pastries (all great - with an assortment of gluten free / vegan (a few) options - breakfast croissants, cookies… ), excellent coffee / latte choices, friendly staff … decent prices. As with all great “mom and pop” shops like this - the downside is that there are times when it is crowded. Parking is limited to the street and a couple of downtown parking lots within a block or so. If you want the “local flavor” - this place has a ton of it and is the heart of Hardwick in my opinion.
Heart broken! I’ve come here sense y’all have opened. Fell in love with everything the chef has made(Alex I believe his name is). Although my experience the other day has me never coming back, and hoping Alex finds a job where he is treated like his work is amazing. The lady behind the counter was being so incredibly rude and causing a scene with customers in there. I have never seen her in any of my visits, but thanks to her this will be my last.
Front Seat Coffee is a local gem! Their food is scrumptious and their drinks are professionally done perfectly every time! If you want to be full all day - egg cheese biscuit breakfast sandwich is just yummy! Love getting their lattes which always look beautiful!

Both the pastries and the coffee are top notch. It is uncommon to find a place that does everything so well. The attention to detail on drinks from the bar was especially striking. It is wonderful that we can access their delicious treats both here and at their Craftsbury Outdoor Center satellite.
Really good food, hot & tasty coffee, attentive friendly staff...DO NOT drive thru Hardwick without stopping!

Great drinks in a great atmosphere. They offer some of the best breakfast items as well. I highly recommend trying one of the empanadas!
Love this place, will definitely be going again! The staff were wonderful, the drip coffee and chai latte were both awesome and the ginger molasses cookie was amazing! (Bonus points for super clean bathrooms!)

Phenomenal in every way! 10/10 breakfast sandwich (sausage egg and cheese on a buttermilk biscuit) 9/10 coffee (mocha latte and a pumpkin spice latte, both excellent but point deducted for not having skim milk available) 10/10 croissant (feta and caramelized onions) 10/10 staff (friendly, locally knowledgeable) 9/10 vibes (point deducted for no mugs, hot latte served in a glass)
Delicious pastries, incredible egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches (on biscuits!!), and great coffee! Beautiful, cozy interior and great autumnal views.
