Snazzy cafe right downtown. Only great things to say. I had the half meatloaf sandwich with a half salad. Both were huge!! Staff was so friendly and genuine. Enjoyed the local art on the walls.

We were passing through town and stumbled into the Moon Dog Cafe. Absolutely delicious dishes. The combo of the peppers and spinach in the egg burrito special was absolutely phenomenal. Even something as basic as a grilled cheese they got right. Service was welcoming, food was hot and served fast. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quaint New England cafe to grab a bite to eat!

I can’t come up with enough superlatives to describe Moon Dog Cafe in Bellows Falls, VT. Eclectic in menu and decor, all of the menu offerings are delicious and generous; both breakfast and lunch. If you’re too full for dessert, take a look in their pastry case anyway and get something to go. Baked onsite, you will not be sorry. Their ginger scones are the things dreams are made of. Literally.

Moon Dog Cafe is a delectable delight...our favorite weekend place to eat. The menu offers great options for everyone, at very affordable prices. Highly recommend!

Went with two others and we all got different things. Spinach salad (dry, hastily made, they forgot the chicken) roast beef sandwich (incredibly bland, poor quality meat) and a breakfast burrito (again, very bland) We all agreed our food was mediocre. Hospitality/waitstaff are rather aloof. There’s also a strange cash-only tipping policy… I guess they’re making so much money they had make it harder to give them any more?

I had the chicken salad sandwich and was never so sick in my life. I am positive I got food poisoning. Will never go back to this restaurant again 🤮🤢

Stopped in for breakfast this morning, the French toast was excellent, THICK slices with strawberries, whipped cream (NOT from a can), REAL maple syrup and a cantaloupe slice on the side. An excellent start to my day made even more excellent by the staff and the box of muffins/pastries/cookies we took home with us. I really cannot say enough good things about their pastries. Each has been a standout example of their variety and I feel lucky to live within a few miles of this gem. If you're looking for a great breakfast/lunch spot in BF, moon dog is where it's at! Portobello sandwich is also excellent and the Big Max is the best veggie burger in town, easy.

Just visited Bellows Falls as a first timer and fell in love. Mostly with the community. Love poured into each dish. The staff was kind, smiling. The food was delicious, French toast and a biscuits and gravy special. Truly delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

We found this cute little Cafe while in VT and I'm so glad we did. Not only was the food delicious (apple cinnamon French toast was incredible and the sausage breakfast sandwich was so yummy) but the service and atmosphere were fantastic.
