The deli used to have really yummy, freshly made sandwiches. Now they have premade, gas station-esque sandwiches that they reheat and the kicker is that the sandwiches are more expensive now. I was so disappointed and won’t be going there shop or eat. Such a bummer.

TLDR: came for the sandwiches specifically, but they grossed us out and made some other family members sick last week, so we passed on the sandwiches. Used to love the deli and so we brought our kids in for some sandwiches and treats, but they now pre-make their sandwiches. Having a display case full of pre-made sandwiches is unappealing enough — they just don’t look fresh or special. The counter employee told me they cycle fresh sandwiches in every “few days.” Which means that the Turkey pesto I wanted could have been sitting there for… two days??? We were grossed out! Even if the case is refrigerated, it gets opened too often to be stable and cold. I’d even say it’s likely a bacteria-breeding ground. We got soup instead and it was yummy. And we love getting lollipops for the kids. Side note: three of my family members got sandwiches from the deli last week and they all got sick! One brother was throwing up all night. Came for the sandwiches specifically, but didn’t get any sandwiches.
We are staying up at Sundance for a few days and my husband ordered chicken soups to take away from the deli. There was literally no chicken in the soup, only tomatoes. I’m serious, no chicken to be seen. We ended up throwing them out.
Horrible experience!! Long wait and when we asked why it is taking long (35+ minutes) they said they forgot to print the order out… then waiting to get refunded took a long time because they were busy fulfilling orders so we ended up waiting around for 45 minutes.
Waited half an hour for our food…never got it…waited another 15 minutes for a manger to refund it…45 minutes later, no food and really regretting my decision. Food looked good just super unorganized.. I’d like to say it was understaffed but it wasn’t…
Horrible. Every time here is worse than the last. Ordered a $10 grilled cheese that took 15 min and the cheese wasn’t even melted. My dirty chai was without coffee and then they added the coffee after the fact with 1/2 in the cup and 1/2 in the cup.
Checked on google and website to make sure I got here in time for my kids to get a few sandwiches, both said they close at 9:00. We got there at 8:27 and were told they were done selling sandwiches but we could buy drinks. I would say it's bad business for a deli to say they're open, but not serving deli items, but they got me to buy two bottled drinks for 10.50 so maybe they're onto something 😂 Girl at the counter was super nice, so I'm going 2 stars instead of one, I'll up it to 5 if I see the online hours change to reflect the real hours. Only giving a low review because this was completely avoidable with a quick update to online hours to 8:30 or just a note that The Deli doesn't serve deli items until close
Good food and actually good lattes! The staff service is spotty as some employees aren’t friendly or are distracted when you approach the counter. But some staff were friendly!
This was a great place to stop by for lunch while we stayed close by at a cabin. It is a little hard to find but it's a beautiful walk to get there after you park. There's a big parking lot around here but it can be hard to find a parking spot. I didn't find a clear menu online so I took pictures to help you all out! Everything was really good but our favorite things were the kids ham and cheese sandwich and the spicy Italian sandwich. We also really loved the smoothies. The whoopie pies were good but I would give them four stars out of five they just could be a tiny bit better quality. I would think for the price you pay though it should come with a side dish. Overall, this is a fantastic place to take my family! Great food and flavor. I can't wait to try more on the menu next time!
Don’t come here for the shrimp Po’Boy. Not very good at all. There were maybe 5 shrimp on the sandwich. $14 for it.
The Deli at Sundance always had the best snacks. Stop by for sandwiches, soups, drinks, and amazing surroundings!

We were so excited to get our breakfast on Saturday morning delivered to our room! We ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese bagels with the cinnamon rolls (these come without frosting) and coffee. Although the food was absolutely delicious, it was cold when it got to our room. We figured with it being a Saturday morning just after they opened with a wedding party, that was probably the reason for the delay. We were happy they have it there because it’s super convenient. It’s a bit pricey as well.
We didn't eat because it was too expensive for a deli.

Great food and it's fairly quick. Love the menu, I usually get a sandwich. Definitely try the deserts are awesome.
Great little deli up in the mountains. They have great sandwiches, soups, and desserts. A little pricey because it's in the resort, but it's a great one stop for a meal.
Highly recommend, they have a great selection of grab and go food. Their sandwich selection changes every once and a while and is always delicious, I suggest branching out and trying something new, you won't be disappointed.
great employees always so friendly and helpful will continue to go there at least 3 to 4 times a week I am very happy with my experiences
