Jackson the manager was freaking awesome! Such a refreshing change of pace to have great customer service and an awesome cup of coffee! I will definitely go back. Warm, friendly & down to earth.
We have loved this place for years, the food is amazing. But today we had a really bad experience. Samantha the waitress failed to inform us of a service fee she added on to our bill and failed to give us the receipt that showed us the service fee. So on top of her tipping herself a more than fair amount we unknowingly tipped her another more than fair amount. On top of her dishonesty the service she offered was terrible. We are very disappointed in the dishonesty after on top of being offered very poor service. We did not walk away very happy, I hope bear paw takes some more awareness of the integrity of the employees they choose to hire.
Overpriced but owner attitude is the main issue. Despite having a guest WiFi come up the owner would not give us the password offering no reason. We're camping and riding the WiFi and anxious to contact my elderly mother. We left. So much for hospitality and welcoming tourists.
Awesome food! Great vibe. Yummy pancakes 🥞
This was our first time at Bear Paw Cafe. My wife and I we're seated at the counter because the restaurant was full of people. It wasn't long before the waitress came to us and took our order. She was very friendly and courteous. Once the order was placed we waited, and waited, and waited until I caught the waitress as she was walking by. She had not stopped by to see if we needed anything in the entire hour we sat at the counter. I asked the waitress where our order was as it had been an hour already. She apologized and went to check on it and said it should be up shortly. After another 5 minutes or so someone brought us our orders. The food was hot and it was presented well on the plate. I ordered the waffle, eggs and bacon. It was good. I really enjoyed the waffle. Unfortunately, the delay in getting our order left a bad impression for our 1st experience there. I may go back but before I ordered I would make sure that they could provide the food quicker, especially if it was busy
This place is often busy. Call in a reservation. The food quality is great. Prices are reasonable. Large portions. Good coffee.
The food is always amazing. The staff are always quick and helpful even tho it's always busy when we come down for breakfast.
Great atmosphere, big pancakes, really good coffee. Great place for families
Excellent little restaurant. Espressos are the best, especially the cappuccino. Server was very professional. You know how sometimes servers come interrupt you every few minutes while you're deep in conversation? Well, this lady read the room and didn't do that. Very professional. Thank you.
I'll definitely return to the Bear Paw Cafe whenever I'm in St George. Awesome food and atmosphere.
Very good food! I got the steamed milk with the biscuits and gravy. Very friendly place and awesome food!
Great food, but was hoping for a little more than one slice of French toast with the order. It was stuffed with the vanilla custard and very tasty just not very filling.
Rockin busy for lunch, the food was great after we got seated. Waitress wasn't very attentive.
The food is so good and so many choices! Everything on the menu is amazing. 2 thumbs up for our waitresses Alex she is super friendly and engaging!
Delightful little spot. About a 15 minute wait on a Tuesday morning, ALWAYS a good sign. Had the Greek omelet. Ample portion and very tasty. A slight miscommunication with my server and a misunderstanding of the menu. Clarity in life is a good thing. Julian corrected the issue quickly and without fuss. I assumed that "home fries" at breakfast would be potatoes with onions and/or whatever. Turns out here they are crinkle-cut French fries! All's well that ends well. If the rest of the menu is as good you'll not be disappointed. Remember folks NEVER assume, ALWAYS clarify! I'll be back.
We stopped here for breakfast. The food was good.
Great home style restaurant. It was worth the 30 minute wait on Sunday morning. Service was good considering how busy they were. Large portions so you may want to share.
I don't want to be mean but I do want to be honest. I waited an hour to be seated for the most mediocre, unappetizing french toast and eggs served cold. I do not recommend. The server was nice and made an effort.
The very best waffles we've ever tasted, and everything else was also wonderful. We'll be back whenever we're in St. George.
Very popular place. Good breakfast great waiters. Usually very very buisy.
