AMAZING. Get in here! The oatmilk latte w chicory roast is incredible. Small vendor shops in here all under 1 roof.
They are gourmet wholesalers. Dude obsesses over his beans. It's like chill, but he just smiles and goes in back to make them better while you're left looking through the factory window.
Amazing coffee experience. Jed is super passionate about coffee. I was so impressed I decided to take his coffee roasting class and learn from the master. Jed taught us the science and art of coffee roasting and we had a lot of fun along the way. Thank you Jed!
I got to know the owners of The Bean Whole, Jed & Tiffany, while shooting the Kickstarter for their new space. They are such down-to-earth, friendly people and the coffee they roast is incredible. By far my favorite roaster in SLC, not only for the quality of the beans but also the personality of the business. If you prefer whole bean coffee, supporting local businesses, and a delightful, boutique shopping experience, you have to stop at the Bean Whole. Also, I'm not usually a fan of cold brew, but the nitro cold brew they have on tap? KILLER. You've got to try it.
Hours are not up to date, we came during published hours and no barista on site, just available for bean purchase. And no decaf offered.
There is no better coffee in SLC and i'll take that to my grave. Jed is insanely knowledgeable about coffee and loves to chat about it. Super friendly guy that always asks how my band or business is doing. The cold brew is incredible and now they have an even larger selection of drinks since moving to The Neighborhood Hive.

The most gratifying moments in my week are spent at this roastery savoring the magnanimous and affable disposition of Jed, the proprietor. I am certainly not an expert on the subject of coffee, but it was immediately apparent that he takes pride in procuring the highest quality of beans available. Furthermore he is committed to bettering the lives of his patrons by working hard, continually making improvements, and educating anyone who will listen. I am very thankful to live in Salt Lake where I am privileged to frequent a business like The Bean Whole.
Great vibe, conversation, and coffee. The Nitro and cold brew are my go to. Jed is super nice and knows his stuff. Highly recommend this place. Shop and support local!
They’re so so friendly and very knowledgeable. Bean quality is amazing too, and can’t go wrong with their fresh small batch coffee beans.
What a fun little gem! Just recently started buying coffee here, and oh boy, what a treat! Jed is super friendly, knowledgeable, and seems to really love what he does there. If you are thinking about stopping by, just do it! You won't be disappointed! I'll definitely never go back to buying grocery store coffee.
Best roaster in town. So good it even gets me out of the house on a Saturday morning with no snow involved.

Best place for cold brew and fresh roasted beans. Jed is super knowledgeable about the flavors and unique characteristics of each regions beans. It's a small shop, but you can't go wrong visiting him.

Utah coffee shop at its finest. Gave my hectic afternoon a breather with the slow paced atmosphere. The employee was friendly & informative (he recognized everyone that came through the door). Even the customers had some great local advice- for a local! The coffee was the best I've had in years. Extra parking in the back. Small town vibe in a big city. 10/10 recommend.
