Coffee is okay, on the pricier and smaller side. The croissants are good if heated. The other pastries are tough and dry. The peanut butter cookie is good (and I'm not a fan of peanut butter, but wanted to taste a little bit of everything). If your purchase is over $20, they add a 20% service charge, so be aware, even if it is for take out (I overheard a guy being so baffled at this when he came to pick up an order; glad I'm not the only one). Not all the workers are nice, so it depends on the day. It is also self serve and clean for the tables. So if you dine in and spend over $20, you are charged 20% on top of that just so the workers can make your order while you bus your own table and get your own water etc. I've tried to like this neighborhood coffee shop, but each time I went, it was something different (not so friendly workers, hard pastries, coffee not consistent, getting the wrong drink order, etc). So no, I will not go back. It definitely is convenient for the neighborhood, but not enough to convince me to go back.

I had a matcha with strawberry (syrup) and a chocolate croissant. The matcha had more of a regular tea flavor so I had to add nut pods in it to give it more of a creamy flavor. As for the chocolate croissant it was AMAZING. Perfectly crunchy, hidden chocolate inside, just overall very satisfying. Will be returning for more!

Super cute little shop with great coffee! My wife and I ended up here after a walk through the neighborhood and this spot is a gem. Definitely worth checking out when you're in the area. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and the service was fast even though they were busy and very packed inside. The patio is lovely. We both very much enjoyed our drinks.

This is a very nice coffee place in a quiet street, perfect to sit outside on a sunny day. Sitting space inside is a bit limited. Plenty of coffee options and pastries. Definitely recommended!

I love the beans they use and their talented baristas. My new favorite coffee stop in the valley.

"we automatically charge 20% gratuity on all orders over $20". This isn't my favorite shop, Roots, Kings Peak, Red Moose and the Coffee Garden are all superior and more charming IMO - but if I'm in this area I have supported this shop over the years. I won't be back as I won't be forced to pay gratuity, it's my choice not the company's. I am sympathetic to post pandemic labor challenges, but there are better shops in the city, with the same challenges, who are making mutually beneficial customer-company decisions. Pay your employees better, raise prices if you must, but force gratuity on your larger orders? Hard pass. When I picked up my order from the counter, and cleared my own table, I was dumbfounded that the barista was scrolling on her phone. There is no value in the gratuity to the customer. What's unfortunate about this is that I always tip, and I'm happy to pay 20% when the service is positive or exceptional. As absurd as it is to write this, apparently keeping your order under $20 is how you can control your service experience and cost.

These guys know what the know and what the know is all about. If this review confused and angers you may I suggest having a cup of coffee from coffee noir?

Absolutely a hidden gem in SLC. Quaint little neighborhood shop with ample outdoor seating. Had their Canyon blend coffee (black) and a blueberry scone. Just delicious. I will be back to support this little business for sure.

What a delight! Great pastries and the coffee and chai were both delicious. I’ve tried many different chais and this is definitely my favorite! We will be coming back :)

Cute coffee shop, great indoor and outdoor seating. Has good vegetarian quick bites options. Their tomato mozzarella croissant is really tasty! Coffee sizes are a little smaller than other stores.

Very nice little coffee shop for sitting with friends and enjoying a pastry and coffee. The cappuccino was not my favorite, I’ll admit, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and they have tasty breakfast burritos and good looking pastries! There is ample indoor seating with outlets to plug in your devices and work a while, and there is also outdoor seating for when the weather is nice and you don’t need an outlet. Will absolutely go back!

Cornerstone of the neighborhood! Not only do they have great coffee, chai, and breakfast burritos, but cozy inside and outside seating right around the corner. A great place to catch up with neighbors and start the day over something warm. I wish there were more great places like this in our city! Street parking only, so I highly suggest taking a short walk or bike ride.
