My favorite coffee spot in all of Salt Lake. The coffee is just how I like it - fresh, flavorful, and nothing too complicated. It's coffee, not a milkshake :) And the staff is just the greatest - they get to know their customers and their orders and I hardly have to tell them my order anymore.
Now I want to give Cafe Expresso five stars I really do but in the recent months it feels like the staff has been lacking. In the past I have been able to drive in and and almost immediately an employee would normally walk out to my car and ask me my order, pay, and leave in less than 3-5 minutes (which is great because I normally run late) but recently I have gotten in line and I've had to wait up to 10 minutes for anybody to get to me, and order at the window when there was one person ahead of me in line. I don't know if it because they are short handed or what but it feels like ever since Cody left customer service has been lacking luster.

Excellent service and good drinks. They accepted pedestrian customers in the drive-through, which was greatly appreciated.

Cafe espresso is defiantly a must for any coffee lover. They have great food items as well, they support other local businesses. The service is unmatched and everyone is so friendly!
I’ve been a regular at this location for years. They have THE BEST frozen mocha in town. Made by the nicest baristas ever. Only suggestion is to please order more everything bagels , bc it’s only in stock 50% of the time I order one.
This place has the best customer service!! Alyssa and Piper are the most bubbly and fun people to talk with. They really make you feel appreciated and wanted as a customer!! I drive 8 miles out of my way because they treat me like a person and not just another “chore”. Their coffee is pretty dang good too, but you can’t forget to try their fruit smoothies and fresh mixed fruit juices. This is my all around favorite coffee shop!!!
i usually love caffe expresso, i’m a regular, i even have a stamp card. however, this experience makes me not want to go anymore. i went at 6:28pm when they close at 7pm, and couldn’t make anything. they couldn’t make any sandwiches or warm anything up because they had already turned off their ovens, they were out of all their bagels and most of the muffins, and couldn’t make my usual frozen vanilla chai because they had turned of the machine to make that as well. i ended up ordering a cold croissant, an iced chai, and a steamed vanilla milk, but i only got the croissant and chai. very disappointed.
I come here every single morning before work, rarely missing a beat, and the staff is always so friendly. I used to go to the 9th and 9th location before moving further South, which was also a great experience. Can't say enough great things about this group of people and their ability to hire the friendly staff. And their iced coffee will actually change your life.
Excellent coffee. They know how pour espresso. The iced coffee is the best around.
I went here for the first time sine 1998. It was as amazing as I remember! Their lattes are so delicious and the taste is 1000 times better than "that other coffee chain". I used to work at a doctors office at St. Mark's hospital back in the day and we would come here very often. I was ecstatic to see they were still in business after all this time! Will be coming once a month when my husband is due for a haircut across the street! Highly recommend if you are looking for a damn good latte!!! ♥️♥️♥️
Love this place! So speedy and they always have such nice employees. They are consistent with quality drinks and the service is incredible.
I will literally drive out of my way to get coffee here. It's our favorite coffee in all Salt Lake. The staff is great, the coffee is delicious, the drive thru is quick. All you could want from a coffee shop.

A great place to go for coffee and breakfast, I go nearly everyday as a way to start my morning off good. I would definitely recommend trying it.

I love the coffee and croissants here, the staff is very nice as well. I like that the frozen coffee is very sweet but still has a strong coffee flavor.
