Tasty, classic diner food. We went for brekky and were not disappointed! Had the classic eggs/bacon/hash breakfast, an omelette, and a hot cake. All was delicious, and the coffee was never empty. 👌 Cute little town it's in, and definite diner vibes. Friendly and fast service to top off a great experience!

We went here because it was recommended in a book called Road Food, which features iconic must-go-to diners and restaurants all over the country. Maybe years ago, this was deserving of such an accolade, but I hear that the owners have changed hands so many times, so I feel it may have lost its passion. The staff was friendly, the cafe cozy but we were disappointed in the food because it was so hyped up. OK, the mashed potato and gravy were good, and the cakes were great, so I’d recommend just stopping for cake or pie. I think they need to do better to bring it back to what it is supposed to be. There was no love in that food…

Excellent food and service in a historic building! Pot roast was top notch and so was the burger and cherry pie.

Your traditional down home cafe. Loved the scones with raspberry butter. Real mashed potatoes. Chicken noodle soup was homemade with noodles that were more like dumplings.

Easy to find. Parking is good. Plenty of seating. Service friendly and quick. Atmosphere and interior clean and laidback. Food we ordered was good and came quick. Pricing was average-above average. Great place to eat all around.

Quintessence of rural western comfort food. Back in three day they embraced the 50's diner feel. I wish they'd bring that back.

Wonderful food and kind service. Thank you so much. The chicken fried steak, salad and flat iron steaks (I didn’t eat all of this..) were great!

This is a really yummy little spot! The fries are FRESH and tasty! It’s cute and definitely has that Mom feel all over the cafe. The sandwich was tasty and the staff was really friendly!

Mmm-mm-mm! Best chicken-fried steak & mashed potatoes I've had since leaving Texas. Tasty clam chowder. Portions were very generous, contrary to some reviews. Very friendly service. Reasonable prices. Only suggestion would be to swap out the green beans with carrots, corn or peas. Definitely will return my next trip through southern Utah.

Just left after waiting for 20 minutes, and not getting a greeting, a menu, or even a cup of coffee. Guess because we weren't local, they didn't want our money? Either way, staff needs some training, it was crummy service. Which sucks, because the menu I found online looked good, and I was looking forward to trying it.

Clearly don’t serve people from out of town. Locals only sort of joint. Ignored by the 3 waitresses on staff. Shame, was looking forward to it.

Hi All I ate at Mon's twenty years ago. I was driving cross country and I still remember the trout dinner. Thinking I might have to head out from NY again.

Stop here! I'm so glad we did. The raspberry butter "scone" (more like a donut) lives up to its almost 5 star review and "famous" title. It is so delicious! The restaurant as a whole was better than your typical ma and pop cafe. The country friend steak was so so, but the gravy that was lick the plate good. The green beans were buttery delicious. The portions were on the smaller side if you have a big appetite, but they have a variety of desserts that you can fill yourself with, or just order 2 raspberry butter scones. FYI it took a little bit for our scones to come out, but they were straight out of the oven fresh, so if yours takes a little while too just know they are worth the wait.
