Good food, really gorgeous dining area, and nice and chill place for my husband and I to have a lunch date together. Amazing tots/fry sauce. The location was more difficult to find because it is INSIDE of NuSkin. But once we found it, it was really nice inside.
My husband and I went to lunch at the Spoon. The atmosphere was great. There was a lot of seating and it was very easy to talk without being downed out by music or surrounding noises. The food was delicious. My husband go the creamy chicken noodle soup along with the club sandwich which he said was excellent! I got a salad which was very fresh and the club sandwich-the bacon was cooked to perfection! The manager was so kind and helpful!
We love the spoon! Lots of delicious healthy and unhealthy options 😋. I wish they were open for dinner too!
The place is nice and very modern. However, the hours are inconvenient, particularly considering that breakfast ends so early at a supposed brunch location (the restaurant is only open until 1:30pm, and breakfast stops at 10:30am). Additionally, the portions are a little small for the price. I ordered a quesadilla and it was very burned, with undercooked pork that was overly greasy and lacked flavor. The overall quality of the food was low, but the ambiance was high. Great treatment from staff and a wonderful environment. They provided a coupon after I reported the burned food, but it was still disappointing that the replacement wasn’t that much better than the original.
Always come here for protein shakes but this is my first try the bacon avocado toast. Love it!
Over priced cafeteria food, don’t make a trip here. There’s much better places in Provo.
Update: We gave The Spoon another try, and I'm so glad we did. The food was great, and the service was even better. I got the special for the day (steak and crab cake with broccolini and fingerling potatoes), and my wife got the sweet pork tacos. This time, mine was much better than hers in both of our opinions, but that's not talking down the tacos--the special was just that good. Both of the managers on hand were very friendly to all the customers, and it just made me enjoy the experience all the more. I would recommend The Spoon--especially if you need healthy options. They've got vegetarian, vegan, etc. as well. And I still can't believe the atmosphere; it feels like I'm in Dubai or something. :) My one suggestion is that if you're going to serve individually cooked steaks, you should ask how I want it cooked. Still turned out great! _______________ Previous review: The environment was great. Superb, even. The whole menu was inviting and healthy sounding. My wife loved her panini, and I took a few bites as well...very good! She got a side salad with the pineapple poppy seed dressing, which was revelatory! On the other hand, I ordered a salmon panini, and something was very wrong. I had my wife try it as well, to confirm, and we finally figured out what was going on. It turns out the bread itself was rancid. The filling was good. I think it was probably bad luck, getting a bad piece or something, but it kind of ruined the sandwich. My side was tater tots, and not only were they not warm (let alone hot), but they were pretty low quality/chalky. I wish the quality of my meal equalled my wife's. Unfortunate.
Service was a bit slowe. Taste was average for the breakfast burrito. Did love that it was made with a whole wheat flour tortilla. Felt healthier.
Super good food and very friendly staff. They had a huge TV playing Nat Geo which was super cool. The whole building has a sick vibe. The food was really good! Highly recommend!
Got the pad Thai and the pesto sandwich (different visits). Both lacked flavor tbh. The texture was great, but not enough seasoning/spice on both dishes. Disappointed, especially given the price point.
My husband and I had a buy one get one free entree offer so we stopped in to use it. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and answered all of our questions! The atmosphere was different than other places we've been and could be a great place to have a small group meal or be able to meet with someone and actually talk without being drowned out with other noise. The food was decent but I didn't love the loaded blt sandwich that I got. We tried a cookie as well and it was good! My husband got a club sandwich and lobster bisque soup that he liked.
This is in the NuSkin building, but is open to the public. We visited because it'n within walking distance of the Marriott. I know we were in a bit of a hurry, but the service was a bit slower than expected. The food was about average. They have a short menu. I had the steakhouse burger with tots. Comes with blue cheese and mushrooms on the burger. I really like blue cheese, but this was a bit much. It really overpowered the mushrooms and other flavors of the burger. Tots were perfect. The tables were clean and the area is modern and wide open (think 4-story atrium). Decent, but I'd probably choose somewhere more cozy with a wider menu selection next time.
The food is delicious! It’s inside the Nuskin office which is gorgeous inside. It wasn’t very busy either. It’s a great place to eat or even have a meeting.
The staff is very friendly and it a fun atmosphere. The food is a little cafeteria tasting but it was a fun experience and I would definitely go back.
We got pancakes and a chicken pesto panini and they were both so good! It was also such a cool space. The Olympics were in and there was lots of cool spots to sit and eat.
Took my 12-year-old here for lunch. We were impressed by the atmosphere and the food.
This is a beautiful restaurant with amazing service. The food was beautifully presented and the meal was incredible. I got a panini with fruit and would highly recommend this spot to anyone.
Went here for lunch - pretty good and healthy! Pretty good selection and prices. Food tasted fresh! Give it a try.
So so good and healthy!
