Really disappointing experience here. Service was terrible which is really odd for BYU students. Sandwich came with no Mayo or mustard and was told, “we don’t have that,” when I asked for some. (Mine you…the feature item on their menu is sandwiches.) They didn’t include my soup in the order either. This used to feel like a test going here. The new fast casual isn’t working for the MOA Cafe. Also, we were told that all of their soups were thickened with flour which is really kind of lazy these days when other options exist that taste equally as good. Tomato Basil soup should never be thickened with flour.

Not what it used to be. The menu from a few years ago was delicious, gourmet, and artisanal. Now they only have a few choices and they're all very mediocre. Their service has gone downhill too. They will frequently run out of food and simply close early with people still waiting in line. They must have new management since reopening after COVID, and they don't know how to run a restaurant. I used to love coming here but my last few visits have been supremely disappointing. I won't be returning until something changes.

they used to have the best mac n cheese with sweet pork about 2 years ago but since then, even aside from that, the food options have decreased

Normally I love the MOA café, and I was really excited about going today. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing like it had been in the past. I ordered my food at 1pm, but I was disappointed because the mac and cheese didn’t show up as an option. When I asked an employee about it, she said that probably meant they were out of it. My husband then asked some of the employees behind the counter if they planned on making more, considering there was still an entire hour until closing time. They said they wouldn’t be making anymore of it, even though there were literally only 4 options left on the menu at this point. We were disappointed, but our food came out quickly and we began to eat. Then we noticed some of the employees snacking on mac and cheese right behind the counter. They must have noticed our gazes, because they then took turns hiding in the back to eat their food. Now I get that the employees are probably allowed to take food home with them, but the fact that the told customers that there was no mac and cheese left just so that they could save some for themselves seems absolutely unprofessional. When I attended BYU, the MOA cafe was one of my favorites, but I’m sad to say that it’s not what it once was…

Pretty good. I like basically everything here. The mobile ordering on the BYU app works great, and the employees are really nice

This was my first time here. I got the hunter chicken pasta which had stale penne and the sauce was much too salty. The bread that came with it was delicious and the ambience is nice. I will not be coming back unfortunately. I barely ate any of the pasta because of the stale penne and overwhelming salty flavor - definitely an absolute waste of $6.50. Try The Wall or Pendulum Court Cafe in the Eyring Science Center for better quality food.

I love the MOA cafe. The view of the rainbow on one side and mountains on another is spectacular. The food is delicious, especially considering it is on campus. I love the pasta the most, highly recommend. I would warn that the line can get SUPER long, especially at times that classes are getting out, and sometimes they seem a little understaffed and overwhelmed. They also run out of things more often than I'd like, so be flexible and have a backup food choice and you'll still have a great time.

The food is some of the best on campus, but the line is very slow and they seem to usually be understaffed. Also, they ran out of bread and mac and cheese one time within an hour of opening, and it really wasn't exceptionally crowded. They had to tell people that had already waited 30 minutes to order that it would be another 25 minutes to get their food.

Great food, I love coming here to celebrate little special occasions. The view of the rainbow sculpture from there is phenomenal.

I like the MOA Cafe and eat there about once/month. The food is good, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I will agree that it's a bit more expensive than most other campus eateries. And the recipes tend to be tweaked a bit from what you might typically expect from the title. That's usually fine, but sometimes doesn't quite work for me. Because the size of the Cafe is kinda small, it's best to go early to get a seat and beat the line.

The food there tastes and looks good, but it's a bit pricier than I would have wanted to pay for it. Instead of a normal soup, they were serving a type of yogurt berry thing, which was actually pretty good.
