We have been coming here for a long time....David is the best and AWSOME cook they have and their servers are very good...Especially server Jennie.....She"s the best....
This is the best place for breakfast ever. The atmosphere is unmatched. Joe himself came out and walk around the tables, giving jokes, laughing, etc. the food was divine. The prices were fair. The waitresses were very attentive and happy. OVERALL IT WAS PHENOMENAL.
Great portions, great service, great prices
Very good service! This is a classic old school diner😃😄 They only serve breakfast and lunch. Closes at 2pm🙂🙃 So don't expect dinner🤫
The breakfast I got was no better quality than iHop and was pretty expensive. I haven't tried their lunch or dinner so I will come back. The waitresses are extremely nice
I arrived and saw a busy place and was excited to try it out. I see several open tables outside with the Mountain View’s. I ask someone if I just grab a table or if there’s a list and already, the rudeness starts. “Oh no, there’s a ton of people ahead of you”. I look around and don’t see that many folks waiting but ok. Another young lady explains to me that people call ahead and are on the list, so I’m like …ok. She puts me on the list and I ask for a table outside. So tip #1 if you want to try it- call ahead. So I wait and watch people pull up in their cars and get seated before me because they called ahead. Again, fine. I get a text that my table is ready and I go inside to check, and a server says “follow me”. I follow him a few feet and then he stops to grab a menu and utensils. And I wait for him to start walking again. Instead he looks at me like I’m crazy, and then hands me the menu and utensils. And says my table is outside but motions towards the other side of the restaurant. What I didn’t know is there are tables on the parking lot side as well, outside, but no views. So I sit down at the nice clean table, and the server comes out and says, “oh no, not here. Let’s put you over there.” (If he had showed me where my table was in the first place this could have been avoided.) Instead, he wanted me to sit at the other table that people just got up from, full of dirty plates and utensils. I didn’t understand why, he didn’t say why. At this point, my experience here was done.
Fast, fast, fast, and delicious!! The service was some of the BEST! the food tasted amazing and reminded me of home. This is an absolute MUST for breakfast!
The owner greeted us and was so welcoming. Tried grits for the first time and they were so good. Great breakfast. Will definitely go back.
I love this place, make you feel like you’re eating home cooked food from yo momma house. Customer service is top notch!!! Love the grits and Texas sausage!!!!!! CASH Anna is amazing
The vibe here is full of love. Joe and the staff are so kind and make you feel apart of the family. The inside of the restaurant is full of pictures which is super cute! When we ordered, our food was out within 15 minutes so the service was fast. I got the breakfast burrito which was tasty. The hash browns were definitely the star of the dish.
Great food, happy customers, happy staff! Genuinely a great vibe in such a tiny cafe, and everyone was extremely friendly and happy to help. Loved the giant stack of tiny pancakes!
We decided to go to Joes Cafe on April 22nd 2023 because of an article we read about Joes in the Deseret News. It said best of the best in Utah. We definitely were not disappointed!! We were greeted by Joe, the owner!! What?? The OWNER!! Yes the owner! He is GREAT! Where else can you go and be greeted by the owner! The staff was amazing! Their costumer service was top notch!! The food was great as well and they even had gluten free toast for my husband! The grits are sooo yummy!! Thanks Joe and Joes staff for making us feel like family!! We definitely will be back!
Joe's is an incredible breakfast spot! They have the best grits you will ever taste, the biscuits and gravy are to die for, and the Belgian waffle is a must! The service is out of this world! we felt like family, literally giving the owner hugs as we left. Everyone should experience this place at least 3 times!
Good value, good food, and good vibe! Portion is huge and food is delicious! Joe, the owner, is also very kind and funny! Love everything of this restaurant!
Incredibly kind staff. Prices are slightly higher than expected, but the service is so amazing that I simply don’t care at all. Every person we talked to was the best.
Where do I begin? Such a friendly environment, DELICIOUS food, friendly/amazing staff!! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!! And Joe is a really cool guy, did I mention that the food is AMAZING!?
It was my first time there, and the cook gave me free Grits, first time having them and they were amazing. The Omelet was fantastic as well! An amazing place even though a waitress accidentally spilled on me.
There is a lot of hype surrounding Joe’s Cafe and I was excited to get to try it. Ultimately I was let down. The food here is okay, but nothing special. I got the biscuits and gravy and they were passable, but nothing to rant and rave over. The gravy is a turkey gravy, which I assumed would mean turkey sausage, but it was just plain ground turkey. If there was any seasoning to it I could not taste it. I also got a side of hash browns for $5.50 and it was so small. I assumed I’d be getting a decent amount of potatoes for $5.50. I understand they have to make money, but it was ridiculous. On a brighter note, my wife really enjoyed her Belgian waffle. It was very delicious. The service was also good and the servers were very attentive and quick to help with any request. Overall, an average experience with nothing too great or too terrible.
Cute little mom-and-pop style Cafe in a city with so few independent restaurants. Really cool atmosphere, love the Polaroids on the walls. Food is yummy. Fresh made diner food, I particularly enjoy their French toast and their grits (and I don't even like grits!) They did bring everyone their food out independently from one another, which left those of us served first in the awkward spot of having to either eat in front of out comrades or risk our food getting cold while waiting for the last plate to arrive. Otherwise, no complaints!
I grew up in the South, so the grits peaked my interest. They were the absolute greatest I've ever eaten. Staff and service were great, and it was amazing to see pictures of Joe with past customers that paper the walls!
