Amazing experience. I had the Eggs Benedict Mexicana, with a buttermilk pancake and Vermont Maple syrup. The food was out in 3 minutes and tasted outstanding. Definitely deserves the title of #1 breakfast place in Moab.

Had pancakes and egg florentine. Pancakes were very big and thick ( I believe there’s a reason they are named pan-cakes), so i do not expect 2 inches thick and rubbery pancake. Egg florentine was decent. ( i have had better) . Serving size was good. Ambience was nice and open . Servers were welcoming. Had the most expensive brewed coffee 4.35$ per 12oz.

About 5 years ago is was excellent. I went again this year and I was disappointed… Poor quality ingredients, food is tasting bad… I won’t go back.

I loved the pepper omelet and potatoes, and very fast service. Although the menu seems limited compared to other breakfast joints, if anything catches your eye you won't regret picking this place for a delicious meal. If I was a prisoner at this jailhouse I would be very excited about the options available!

😃😋I absolutely love this place! Hands down best breakfast in Moab, and likely all of Utah! The seating areas have an amazing vibe. All employees were extremely friendly and did an excellent job. The food and coffee were both top notch. I tried the El Rancho Burrito… delicious! The Buttermilk Pancakes and American Omelet are amazing as well, I’d highly recommend. The Garlic Serrano sauce they have at the table is incredible too and I actually ended buying a couple bottles to take home. Overall I can’t recommend the Jailhouse Café enough! 🥞🍳

The best decaf I’ve had in 50 years of drinking coffee! Only complaint is that sitting in the sidewalk area you get bounced around every time someone walks by on the deck boards.

Delightful, bustling, and well-staffed cafe! All staff were incredibly friendly and our food came very quickly! Servers stopped by often to top up the water and coffee. We had the Southwestern Eggs Benedict and an order of their delicious bacon. Their home fries were amazing, too. The history of the cafe is pretty cool, too. Will definitely be back!!

Your typical Coney Island or quick breakfast spot. The food was mediocre at best and wasn’t any special. A bit pricey, but the service was good. The waffle was not good at all, I would not recommend it.

Had a nice experience here. Were seated and served quickly, despite the crowds. Our server was friendly and had a positive attitude, which is always nice. The coffee and food was good, filling, and not overly expensive. Their hot sauce/green chili sauce was delicious, and I really like the shirts they have for sale (although they were out of my size).

Great coffee, just so good. Servers are very nice warm people. Welcomed my little dog and he chowed down on his eggs and bacon. Visit if you can, I think you’d enjoy your meal.

We stopped in and had breakfast yesterday. Everything was top notch from the service to the food. Everyone at our table had something different and everything was excellent! Waffles, pancakes, eggs and eggs benedict. We will definitely be back and strongly suggest you give them a try.

Our favorite place for breakfast in Moab! The food was great! Sadly, for my late rising group of travelers, it closes at noon! We could of easily had breakfast for lunch/dinner.

You have to come here! The food is AMAZING and the service was spectacular! Wendy was our server and was super happy and kind and checked on us often. Gary helped us get some awesome swag and kept us laughing. I got the chorizo scramble and it was so savory. Highly recommend!

Although it seemed very busy, the wait was only 10-15mins for a party of 6. Staff was prompt and food came out quick. The Mexicana eggs Benedict was delicious with a side of very very good thick bacon. Pricy for breakfast, but worth it.
