Outdoor seating, friendly service, and good food. We came for breakfast and we’re not disappointed.
It's hard to find a place that sells aebleskivers. Rucas does it right. Taste is great. The razzle dazzle has a perfect blend or the tart raspberries with sweet filling. Grabbed a big bear breakfast, and it was done right. Eggs light a fluffy and bacon the right amount of crispness. Views of bear lake ate amazing with he outside seating, or you can be on he other side to view the mountains. Friendly staff and some extras like gift shop right there as well.

If you don't stop to get Aebleskivers here you're missing out! We stopped multiple times in one trip so we could try a handful of the different flavors. They're incredible! The workers were also friendly and helpful in deciding what we should try each time we visited.
Ruca's is my absolute favorite place to eat at the lake. And get m my coffee. My new favorite is the dirty Chai, and always avocado toast. The staff is friendly and fun. And even if they are short staffed. They make adjustments in hours instead of quality. I think we all need to understanding of this in these trying times. Also the gifts are so cute and cozy. Best gifts at bearlake for anyone from tiny people to regular sized people. And jewelry to absolutely die for. At half the price you pay online in similar shops. Ten out of ten. Every single time!
I loved this place! Great ebilskivers and dog friendly! The owners are really nice and they have a cute gift store also!
The whole vibe of this place is amazing. If you are into crystals, good vibes and amazing food this is a MUST stop on your next trip to Bear Lake!
The best fresh food in bear lake! The tiki tea is amazing and they have the cutest little crystal shop with unique gems!
Went for breakfast, due to limited staffing, they only had their special Danish breakfast item, Aebleskivers. We got one Raspberry and one strawberries and whipped cream type. They were delicious and came 7 to an order. Splitting 1 order for a couple would have been enough for us. The staff was very helpful and working hard to keep up with the criwds. They had great shaded outdoor seating overlooking Bear Lake.
Sweet spot to stop and have lunch. Food was good and the service friendly.
What a great place to get breakfast before you head to the lake. The portions are just right and they offer The Daily Rise coffee. The sitting area was cute and there are little trinkets to buy in the line. I was the first customer and they had my food ready in about 10 minutes.
Atmosphere: 5/5 Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Smoothies: 6/5 Quaint little breakfast/lunch/dinner spot! The raspberry smoothie is my absolute favorite, if you’re stopping here it’s a must!! Their food is good and there is plenty of seating. Cute souvenirs available and there is a boutique too but wasn’t open when I was there. Clean bathrooms. Really enjoyed this place.
We came on a Wednesday at 11:30am and had to wait maybe 15 min for food. Played corn hole while we waited with the kids. Everything was super good and good serving size. Kids pbj was big for my 1 and 3 year old. They could have shared one. We will be back for sure! Oh, I ordered a coke but I think it was a Pepsi because it was super flat and came in a Pepsi cup lol.

The aebleskeavers are unique and delicious. It's fun if you want to try something a little bit different while visiting Bear Lake.

What an amazing little place. We stopped by and ordered two different versions of their Æbelskivers. The traditional and the Razzle Dazzle and we were blown away at how great these were. Fun atmosphere where you can shop, enjoy the shade, or sit in the sun, and/or play cornhole with a gorgeous view. We will definitely stop by here again the next time we're at Bear Lake.
Lovely outdoor seating and delicious food. We have Danish ancestors and this is a special treat for our family. The raspberry and traditional were our favorite!
