Upon entry I was greeted by a very nice young woman, Chloe, who promptly took my order, and had an extremely positive demeanor (some call it a positive aura). I was served a stellar cup of coffee with an artistic rendition of cream that should be on display at an art gallery by a skilled barista named Skylar. I highly recommend this spot, nothing compares to good service and excellent coffee.
The coffee is amazing and the mountain views take your breath away! The parking can be difficult but that's because it's very popular. In addition to the coffee, they have unique foods to atack your taste buds. Awesome selections to cure your hunger!
Staff is amazing, especially Chloe and Jake! Always friendly, service is great, and coffee is the best!

Alpha Coffee at Big Cottonwood has amazing coffee and food, but it’s more than that. You will be served by a uniquely joyful group of people. Chloe and the crew make amazing latte art, and I have a large collection of photos of their latte artwork now. I try to come here every morning, and on days where I have to get my coffee somewhere else I truly miss it. If you begin your day at Alpha Coffee you are guaranteed a great day.
Great coffee! Great service the barista actually took the time to help my son pick something since he is not a big coffee drinker and he loved it!

I've been to this location a handful of times. Ashtyn, Josh, Chloe, Hailey and Sydney always make my visit worth it. They have the best customer service and attitudes around. The drinks they make are really delicious and will keep me coming back. Being a Veteran myself I like to know that I'm helping a fellow Veteran business.
Morning everybody! Sending the biggest shout out to SYDNEY!!! I visited Alpha Coffee and ordered my favorite, an Oat milk Latte. WOW! It was and is by far, the BEST Oat Latte I have ever had. In fact, today is the second day I have visited Alpha Coffee. I'm not saying this lightly when I share that their oat latte is deliziosa. I live in LA and have tried many an oat latte at the zillion of coffee shops in my city. NONE compare to Alpha's!!! It is by far the most satisfying , not too sweet as Starbucks, Peet's, nor Coffee Bean and other coffee haunts' oat lattes. Thank you Sydney for making my start of the day fabulous!! A quick note on the staff- all lovely, kind, and chatty. Love this. The ambiance super cool and the Quiche, deliziosa !! ( Ordered a latte & Quiche ). It's well worth the drive to enjoy this experience and say hello to the friendly staff, esp Sydney!! Enjoy enjoy !!! Can't wait to visit Alpha Coffee again tomorrow
Stayed nearby for a week while enjoying all the powder in the Canyons. Visited here because of the reputation and was not disappointed. They roast their own beans and have both blends and single-origins available. The coffee is good. The espresso drinks are done well. They had a lot of young blood working behind the counter so I was dubious, but every espresso drink I had benefited from a well-pulled shot; flavorful and unburnt, and the drinks balanced well. I really enjoyed the standard mocha. Everything was clean and there was more space than I expected; there were some big windows through which to enjoy a view of the Wasatch mountains. It can get busy and parking can be tight, but it's a worthy stop.
I stop here before any journey into the canyon... Had some coffee heads from Milwaukee in and they loved the cold brew.
Best place for a pre brighton pick me up! Olivia was awesome, super friendly and recommended the powder day which was delicious.
I love the vibe at Alpha coffee. Great people and an awesome ambience. The coffee is delicious!! (and I am picky about my coffee). My favorite is the Warrior Select dark blend. The staff is always super friendly and I love seeing the dogs on weekend mornings. Such a fun spot to hangout!
Clean, modern, laid back cafe. Quality products. Prices a little high; seems that’s the going rate now.
Lovely location with friendly staff, interesting drinks and decent reheated in a fancy Starbucks style oven food. Great pit stop for all your canyon adventures!
Came in for a black decaf (!) coffee and a scone. Probably the best of each i've ever enjoyed. Bought a bag of the coffee to take home. The scone lasted only a few seconds.... Plan to be a regular!

One of the most clean coffee shops in SLC valley who they contribute to our community in various ways! Panoramic view to the Wasatch front and Salt Lake Valley. Stuffs always kind and patient. Great pastry and food.
Absolutely wonderful. Wish I lived in Utah so I could come here more. Delicious coffee, amazing staff, warm ambiance, steady wifi and a dope Mountain View. Put this spot on your list of places to try while in SLC.
