We just happen to see this downtown cafe as we were going through wills point for the first time in our lives. On the way back we stopped in and so very glad we did. Great little place with neat atmosphere. Got a chicken fried steak which we hadn't had in years and years, and it was so much fun. Vegetables were great too. As soon as we ordered a drink, The waitress told us that earned any choice in the cooler for $0.50. We each chose a different piece of cake and they were so great.
Wanting something other than fast food last week, I tried the Bluebird Cafe out. I will definitely be back!! The food was delicious. Tasted home cooked! They have a HUGE menu with a little of everything. I ordered the special for that night, Chicken Fried Steak & 2 sides, and I got a dessert for 50 cents extra. The woman running the cash register was as sweet at the pie, helping me out the door as I had 3 orders of the special. Good food and great service!
Stops serving breakfast before 10. Waste of time.
Great food and wonderful service. These days it hard to find both. Will be returning on our next trip to the lake.
Good home cooking and lots of home made desserts. Lots of variety to choose from.
The food was good but the portions were a bit smaller than I am accustomed to. The service was friendly, but took a while to get our food, and they were not busy at the time. It was also a bit expensive compared to some other cafes in the area.

Called a little after 10am. Literally got told they stop serving breakfast after 10am… Why??? Food is good though but them stopping serving breakfast RIGHT after 10 is annoying.
This was a great little place, looked for a local place to eat and we found it. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. They have a very extensive menu. Very, Very good.
Hubby and I both got chicken fried steak and it was totally delicious! We’ll be back!

Food was edible it wasn't however worth the price
Food was good, but portions were skimpy. They had fish as à special but was out of cold slaw. Staff was not as friendly às they seem on FB
Love some Blue Bird Cafe! Never disappointed always friendly and fast. As usual my club sandwich was great!
Delicious and good value. Bluebird has been around for years. Still good people and good food. Has that family owned, hometown good vibe with amazing cake.

I love this small town restaurant. Friendly service and good food. Located next to the train tracks you can watch trains go by while you eat. My favorite is the fried catfish. Come try it you'll love it here.
Very good food, reasonable prices
Had to wait an hour for food that wasn't very good, and the chips they brought out beforehand were cold. The reason for the 2nd star is cause the cashier was nice and there was a sunflower fan that was spinning really fast and it made me laugh.
