Stopped in for a quick bite before heading to the airport. The service was friendly and my order came out quick. It was fresh and delicious!
Great local coffee shop. Very high quality.
Went for lunch and ordered a BLT to go with no lettuce and no tomato. I realized only after I left and was far from the place that my sandwich was only bread and bacon, still paid full price. Who eats only bread an bacon??? Very unsatisfied. Won’t try again.
Great little coffee place. Avocado toast is sooo good!!
Excellent place to hang out or grab a to-go coffee. 5 stars across the board.
Nice coffee house type atmosphere. A little expensive for a cappuccino. The lemon cookie was good.
Coffee is ok, wait staff talking amongst themselves is louder than the entire clientele in the store
Delicious coffee! Very relaxing ambient!
Let's start with: 4:29pm on Sunday 4/16/23, and the cleaning supplies were already out in the open on the counter... ...as we walked in, and the MOMENT I grabbed the menu, I'm "greeted" with a rude statement (snapped directly at me): "The kitchen is closed!" ... (as opposed to "Hello, Welcome in", etc.) We are aware of the closing times for this location on a Sunday (5pm) and were simply looking for the DRINKS available on the menu, as my wife and I had zero intention to eat at this time of day; that's besides the point since we weren't even greeted or asked, "What can I get you today?" and/or "...and we apologize ahead of time, if you intend to order food, our kitchen is already closed", etc. ...had that been conveyed to us, I wouldn't be writing this review, jsyk. In terms of the drinks; my wife ordered the cappuccino (w/simple syrup & oak milk); however, it was OVERLY piping hot along w/the steamed milk. The espresso shot (ordered on the side for tasting & testing) was lackluster, as the beans were burnt and overly SOUR (not fruity). As coffee connoisseurs that we are, temperature was off, and flavor of the oakmilk was shot right out with this excessive heat. The high note of the visit (thank goodness) was my Matcha Latte w/strong & full-flavored Matcha powder; albeit, my normal alt milk of choice (soy) was not available here. For context, my wife & I visit tons of independent coffee shops WEEKLY for the past 6+ years, big & small, in Houston Metro (as well as DFW) area. We're a 4+ coffee-serving daily household, as well as roasting our own beans at home. BLUE DOOR COFFEE in The Woodlands WILL NOT BE OUR REGULAR GO-TO moving forward. Not only due its tastes ...but also due to poor staff behavior. (I do want to recognize one other employee that greeted us "Have a nice day" on the way out. We DID appreciate it.)
I visited this location today for a business meeting and I did not have the experience that I had hoped for. The group that I was with were already seated by the time I arrived and we’re enjoying their coffee and pastries. I walked up to the register and was standing there for a few minutes and nothing was said by either employee. however, a person walks through the door they are greeted and helped quickly as I am still standing there.. One person was waiting on his drink or whatever he had ordered. He came back up to the register and the employee had a conversation with him and he left. Meanwhile, I’m still waiting. I turned and walked away and went back to the table, where I was sitting, never ordered anything due to the fact that I wasn’t even asked if I wanted to order anything. The person at the register saw me standing there, and clearly made a conscious decision not to say anything. I scheduled the business meeting here and was hoping for a better experience. This is a beautiful establishment, but the customer service was less than perfect today.
Recently discovered this little café. Decided to take my laptop & due some work. Between 9:00 am - 10:00 am the place is packed! However, the staff was quick to serve. Friendly environment, the overall aesthetic of place was very welcoming, clean & simple. I would recommend a cold brew drink with a piece of Lemon Raspberry Bouchée. The sweetness of the Bouchée and the Cold Brew Coffee is an excellent mix. Highly recommend this place!
So good! The food, drinks and service were great. I would definitely come here again.
Brown water with little flavor. I got a moche and there was little to no flavor, it was like even the coffee was watered down.
We were in town for a conference and I would always rather do a local coffee shop over the traditional spots so we searched Google and landed here. The area where this shop is located is really neat and the coffee, hospitality, and environment were perfect for what we were looking for. If you’re in the area, make this your coffee spot.
Quite busy (there was a conference at the Marriott) so no place to sit. I wanted a pour-over but they were out (~11 am) The cashier didn't know. The americano I got instead was good enough but it's frustrating that in 3 tries i never got to try their coffee.
Best place to get a coffee on the weekend. Great people, great vibes
Blue door cafe was very good I definitely recommend it . The workers are so nice . I got a chia latte and a bacon breakfast burrito . They both tasted amazing the burrito was definitely my favorite . It is so cute in there it is a great place to try .
Order the Kiss From a Rose! If you like matcha, you’ll love this! Overall, great service, very clean space, and beautifully decorated.
Great atmosphere. More outlets would have been nice (specifically in the back booth areas).
Horrible experience. No customers and still couldn’t get a simple order right. How hard is it to make two Americanos. No half and half available . How do you run a coffee shop with no half and half? Asked for honey and they forgot it. Asked if they added it to my drink and she assured me she did. Went back into the shop to stir it to see it was in the bottom of the cup, and still wasn’t in my coffee. Barista was texted in the middle of making coffees, and was barely warm let alone hot. Sad excuse for a craft coffee shop. Gave this place a second try and never again.
